I never considered simply adjusting the opacity of the ambient layer on top, thanks for that

Seen so many tutorials, people masking window pulls. The best and simple method is a 1/200 flash shot and darken mode. Gives all the white lines and your done

Love the video Matt! That house was stunning. Do you have any videos of this process but for a large and/or long room?

These are really helpful, will probably help me reduce the need for me to outsource. But anyway, outsourcing helps me spend more time with my family. edithere if someone needs it, not that I want to advertise but their service is really great.

Thanks for sharing this. Can you get into more detail as to your bracketing and you flash shot? I am assuming the bracketing is that you expose for all the highlights. The lamp, the. The window pull, so that you have the full range.

    Hi Matthew. Greetings.
if you may please choose to share... (1) What was the purpose of shoot? real estate or Architect client ? (2) ideally, is it better to get the framework (distortion correction) of composition correct before getting into finer finishing? (3) was the base flash shot was a single shot or composite? (4) If one shot, where was the flash positioned while clocking. (5) you have chosen to leave the odd reflections and fitting shadows on the wall marble !!
thanks for your time and efforts of sharing your work. cheers.

How do you do tu use the brush with something like auto mask. Like you do with the lightbulbs?
    Thanks a lot

Thanks for the inspiration and method. I would like to know what is your flush power level for the rooms and bathrooms. For the bracketing shots what is your middle point? Do you adjust (set) your middle exposure like -0.3 or -0.7 or 0? Thanks

I use an ad200 and in smaller rooms I flash at 1/4, bathrooms 1/16-1/8 and bigger rooms 1/1

Hey Matt, when you shot your flash where did you aim it? Ceiling, back or directly into the space? Thank you :)

    • @StalloneMedia
      @StalloneMedia  Год назад

Flash is aimed above camera in corner of the room.

it's good but my flash will be on top of the ambient. why? because if there's flash shadows and you put the ambient on top and you reduce the opacity, guess what will happen? yes! the flash shadows will show up. when your flash is on top, you can simply mask the shadows out.

that's how simple it is?!! when we take an album imagine doing all this to the whole house it literally needs a whole day!! only for editing the photos away from the matterport and the video etc...

Very interesting video, but you have to work on your audio. There are some bass sounds wich are very distracting.

At the end the image is still too dim. I'd dodge a lot the areas in this photo to make it pop. The exterior window view looks like a bright sunny day but this bathroom has a very "cloudy day" vibe to it. Very even and dim lighting.

What is the point of these videos if you can't read the friggin' panel material? There is a vast difference between "demonstrating" and "teaching". Is everyone who makes them wired up on the dummy dust? Why is it necessary to talk at auctioneer speed.
The problem of lovely green foliage through a window and a dark room inside has existed since digital real estate photography began. Nobody can get to the point?
