  • In another tutorial video, I walk you thru editing process to put together this living room image. We'll breeze through the Lightroom portion and focus on Photoshop, where most of the "heavy lifting" was done.
My name is Matthew and I'm an architecture & interiors photographer based in Kansas City.

I get some of the most value from these tutorial videos. More detailed explanations would NOT be boring.

Your videos have legit helped me start the transition from real estate to interior design. Still building a new client base and portfolio but it's happening. Anyways just wanted to let you know I am very glad I found your channel (any Anthony's lol), thank you!

Thank you so much for your videos! I am trying to help my architect husband by photographing his projects but I am not a professional photographer - I am trying to teach myself :) I am learning so much from your videos! After I get a little better at this I'll definitely look for any other resources you have.

Another great video. Love watching all the flash pops get built into the final image. To help avoid the HDR look on the window pull from the lumenzia mask around 9:05 in the video, you can also feather the mask in the properties panel of the "Group 1" mask to around 30 pixels.

Your videos have been so helpful teaching me about interior design photography. I actually even made some photography friends through your account (Hi Shino!) . Thank you!
PS: I don't think slower would be too boring for people who enjoy this type of content, it is a form of art after all :)

Awesome vid, super pro quality too! I know a trick for fixing the lumenzia window mask if you are interested. We used to do masking years ago before HDR and called it DRI (dynamic range increase).

Great video! My question would be - how much images do you generally return to your customer? How do you keep the images concise given the various flash pops? Thanks!

What specific soft box do you use?? And if it’s discontinued, what’s a similar one we can get?

The only thing I disagree in most of your photos, is that you cut out the legs of the chairs, it feels incomplete.
In Real State is very common, but in architecture & Interior design, is very important, so you can understand the scale and the materials of the chairs, tables or couch, that in every case is part of the design.
In close up shots, this doesn't matter that much, but in wide shots, is very important.
