    I have a small hand and when I bow up my two middle fingers get out of place or it moves more up. Is that ok?

    • @theviolintech7632
      @theviolintech7632  5 месяцев назад

      Hi, every hand is different. The idea is to understand how the bow hold should function but everyone does modify the finger position some to make it comfortable. Ideały you want to be comfortable and sound good at the same time. You’ll find it if you keep at it! Good luck.

    Is a baroque bow hold different than modern bow hold?

    • @theviolintech7632
      @theviolintech7632  10 месяцев назад +2

      Excellent question! Yes it is different. Development of the modern bow opened so many possibilities in terms of sound that the only way to truly utilize its potential was to develop a new bow holds.

    nice explanation.but ka still don't know whether mid finger and thumb are only in opposite position to each other or they are holding each other all the time .A am noobiest noob

    • @theviolintech7632
      @theviolintech7632  4 месяца назад

      Hi, they ideały shouldn’t touch. And depending on hand proportions they can be a little offset from each other. The most important thing is that the thumb is round and doesn’t slide in so deep that it touches the middle finger.
