Great Video Andy. I’m also enjoying my F150 STX 2WD Coyote. Mine has a little different options like rubber floor mat, full front seat and 3.15 gears. I just traveled 3500 miles this past week in my truck from Arkansas to NE North Carolina and back. Then to Omaha NE and back in 5 days. My truck averaged 23.5 mpg the first 2700 miles then we loaded an upright freezer and drove 700 more miles which dropped the average to 22.9 mpg. The ride quality is the best I’ve had in a truck and the leg room in the front and back is world class. Love the color. Casper will look great behind the STX.
I cant agree more on the leg room and the ride is really good.. I have to say I'm very impressed with the Coyote from a power and fuel economy standpoint. We are heading to FL in a few weeks and it will be interesting to see the fuel economy compared to yours with the 3.15 vs 3.31 gears.. my guess is it will be almost exactly the same. I havent seen a STX with a rubber mat, I kinda wish ours had one! My kids can make a mess lol Andy
At least you avoided the eco boost bad valve situation. The Chevy/gmc half ton trucks also have excellent ride and performance as the ls is a proven power plant too. Glad she got a vehicle she likes.

I’ve had an ‘18 lightening blue sport crew cab same console setup same electronic diff, with the coyote in a 4x4 for exactly a month I love the color! 😊 80k miles for $26k I had to have the 4x4 (North Dakota) You might consider getting a bigger aluminum pan for the trans and ditching the plastic oil pan too.
We bought a 19 super crew 6ft bed 4wd 5.0 for our family mainly for the large cab over our old 02 super crew and I had a 3/5 drop ordered and installed 2 weeks later lol. Still stock besides a tune. It’s been 13.29 103 8.55 83 with nothing but a tune and e85. Stock everything
So Andy, How soon will you be installing a cold air kit and an exhaust. Please do some mods and race it against Davids Mustang it would be awsome to see. Keep up the great content and Ill see you in the next one. 👍👍👍
Watch out for oil consumption and phaser issues. Id switch to 5w30 oil immediately. Hope you have the extended warranty. That locking rear diff is known for eating ring and pinions. Double check the oil level.
Off subject, can you do a video unequal header length and harmonics ? (I saw Mr Visard) My question is V8 or Inline 4-6 does equal length cause harmonic issues ? /ᐠ｡ꞈ｡ᐟ\

@@UnityMotorSportsGarage mine also came with the auto-start delete so I don’t have that shut off feature either. It was a $50 credit not to have it.

It has a rubber belt driven oil pump.
Exposed to oil behind the timing cover.
unfortunately the Coyote now has a belt driven oil pump as well!
