- There are so many iconic Jordan 11 colorways, but one of our favorites is the Space Jam Jordan 11. Vick has restored plenty of Jordan 11s in the past including the Concords and Cool Greys, but it’s been a long time since a pair of Space Jams have come across his desk.
Today Vick is going to show you how to restore a pair of Space Jam Jordan 11s from 2016. This pair of Space Jams is pretty beat and the icy sole is extremely yellow. Vick is going to detail the best way to clean your pair of Jordan 11s, and how to remove the yellowing from the sole of the Jordan 11s.
To start, Vick removed the shoelaces and inserted the Adjustable Shoe Tree. The Space Jam Jordan 11 we’re working with today happens to be a massive size 14…normally our Shoe Trees wouldn’t be long enough to fit a shoe this size, but we just started offering Adjustable Shoe Trees that fit anywhere from a size 12 to 18…we’re the only company out there looking out for those of you with bigger feet!
After using an air compressor to blow off any surface dirt and dust on the Space Jam Jordan 11s, we can start cleaning these up with the RESHOEVN8R Sneaker Cleaning Solution and Brushes. Vick used the Soft Bristle Brush to clean the entire uppers, the Medium Bristle Brush to scrub the midsole, and the Stiff Bristle Brush to attack the outsole.
This shoe cleaned up immaculately. But this isn’t just a cleaning, we’re going to fully restore these Jordan 11s too, starting with the midsole. The midsole is pretty creased, so Vick carefully used a heat gun to remove the creases. This method works wonderfully, but you have to be careful not to overheat the midsole, or else it could expand and warp.
Onto that nasty yellow sole. To unyellow the sole of the Space Jam Jordan 11s, Vick applied some RESHOEVN8R Sole Revive to the yellow areas, wrapped it in Saran Wrap, and let it cook in the Vick 2000 Indoor Setup for 5 days! Each morning and each night, Vick reapplied the Sole Revive to really deoxidize this outsole.
The results speak for themselves. There is no better way to unyellow the icy soles on Jordan 11s.
Now that the soles are icy again, we need to shine up this iconic Jordan 11s patent leather. Vick used a RESHOEVN8R Sneaker Wipe to clean up the patent leather, and then used RESHOEVN8R Mink Oil and an electronic buffer to shine it until he could see his reflection in it.
And just like that, this pair of 2016 Space Jam Jordan 11s looks untouched. Vick absolutely brought this pair back to life. Admittedly this wasn’t Vick’s most laborious restoration, but it was definitely satisfying.
Vick did this pair justice.

@@RESHOEVN8R you're welcome. I put a wet microfiber towel over the foam as a protective barrier and apply the steam. It gets even the smallest of creases out. I'm sure y'all got some beaters to give it a try on. Just like with the heat gun, don't leave it on one spot too long. 👍

@reshoevn8r I know this is a year old but I’ve used sole revive on a few pair of kicks. I put under uv lights in a covered container. Question is do you wash it off after each 24 hour session or do you just apply another layer and cling wrap again? My first pair of 11’s took on some sole damage (this pair I layered sole revive without washing). Second pair did not ice back up (this one I washed off after each 24hr session). What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

ponles peroxido del 40 con una brocha en las zonas que ya se oxido el plastico y cubrelos con plastico de emplaye, dejalos al sol por 4 o 5 horas ... repite el proceso hasta llegar al resultado deseado, ten cuidado que no se manche de peroxido lo que si esta bien del tenis sino lo quema.

I have a DS pair of 2016 space jams. The soles are icy blue. The soles after the icing session in this video were clear but didn't have that blue tint though. Can anyone share their opinion on why that might be? Also I have iced mine before despite being DS cuz they started slightly yellowing in the box.
Did you remove the paper from the box? Always remove the paper from the box, It's slightly acidic

You do not have to clean off the old coat to apply new.

Restoring shoes allows you to get so many old releases and bring them back to life! Some of the new one's aren't made quite like the old days.

Hey Vic I was trying to get some crease out of the heel part of the 11s and when I was done the patent leather clear coat looks like if it was kind of melted. What would be the best way to fix that?
Unfortunately there is not much you can do to repair it.

@@Alex_thelionTV sand gun and acetone for removal and then 2 coats black spray paint followed by a coat of polyurethane spray and a light buff with some mink oil for the refinish.

This can be found on Amazon, if you search electronic buffer for shoes it will pull up a couple of different options,
i wonder what else he does with that light and tent 😏
The whitening product he uses you can buy those things at a beauty parlor or cosmetics shop for cheaper price it's just an oxidizer that they change name and logo
It's different. However, either one will work the one from the beauty parlor may take longer.

Are there any ways to fix mid soles? The creases or no? I be buying shoes and restoring them but 11s be some times a losts cause the mid sole I lost a lot of shoes cause of them???
A heat gun can help with the creases on the midsoles, but you have to make sure not to get it too hot.

You don't have to.
I have some crease on the front pan leather how can I fix that Professor??
Unfortunately there isn't much you can do for this. You can stuff the shoe with Shoe Trees when you aren't wearing to minimize it, but they can not be completely removed.
