Just received the exact speaker in this video today, damm it sounds super clear in person. Sounds amazing!!!! Thank you for the quick shipping. Keep up the good work BluePigProductions.
Very very nice build! While already in process of building my own (or at least getting the parts together) I came across this video. Very nice work on the box! I hope to get my box built in the next week, which will be along the lines of the Diamondboxx Model L. I'm using the 4ohm 5 1/4 version instead though for a little more punch. Ported and tuned to 35hz.
Looks great! I just placed an order for 2 ND105-4, 2 ND16FA-6 and 1 SD175-PR. Will use the XO2W-4.5K crossover and the KAB-230 board for this build. Keep building!
Linus Wahlstedt Tja! :)
its funny how people have no idea how to build a box like this.. 😀 I built my first (dimensioned) enclosure when I was 11. There was no internet, so I read a printed book about Thiele-Small parameters and speaker design. And that was not even necessary to build a wooden box.... a box made of mdf sheet cut to the desired size at diy stores... (home depot, obi, baumax, you name it..)
nice build pro quiality you should start selling them. give diamondboxx a run for their money. I could see you got skills & ideas. not like those diy boombox guys who use cheap speakers & dont know jack. I salute you.
woofers $70 + tweeters $30 I would have done subwoofer on side 6 in. 2.1 power amp $20 lithium power station $30. 9500mah box plus Radiators. Woofer coils .5 mf and Caps 3500mf. then on sub woofer 1.5mf coil. Really nice job though I wish I had the time to make that up. Need one for my classic cars. They are too noisy for just a basic bluetooth speaker.
I would love to see the plans for replicating this, and I can share mine as well, I have Used Trimble sketchup to do some plans myself but haven't gotten around to building any due to cost.
I really admire this build. It looks amazing, and though the video, even sounds amazing too! Though it is kind of a sin to put all the passive radiators on the same side. Because they have so much moving mass, they will really make the speaker shake and vibrate. I wanted to build a speaker with a similar 4-way PR setup on the back, but 128 grams of mass being tossed back and forth unevenly is not that great when it comes to vibrations.
I guess you could make somthing at that price. but Not much is it enough for your time that is the question. LIke to see a pink noise graph on those. The woofers you got have a pretty flat graph. with a 60hz punch. nice choice. But is the base boomy or punchy. I need to put on my good headphones and you would need a really high end microphone like Clevine Junkie. One of my old friends was the designer for aperion audio. High end stuff.
I am really interested in making a DIY speaker just like this one...can you show me the wiring diagram of this build??? i really like to know the wiring diagram for this one... And by he way what Amp did you use???
any classic vw shows there if you see one take videos my channels will want to see them I have 3 channels I have commented under the others too. only been doing this for around 2 years. the key is upload and get good titles and have good content everything is unedited.
Hi.. I love this speaker and keen on building something similar. Are you willing to share the plans like you did with some of your other designs? Also, I'm keen to learn if you built those crossovers yourself, or if you bought them somewhere online?
bluepigproductions. I just starting getting into these bluetooth speaker builds . love yours by the way . i see most info in description only have a few questions like dimensions , also are the left and right side separated in box? also did you cover the back of tweeter or is it getting same air from front sp? are the passives 4" as well?
I suppose you built this, right? If so, how would you say the price of the build and the sound quality compares to a bought speaker? Looks and sounds really good!
Yes, I made this by myself. Everything, including the paint, cost about 150 euros. I think its much better then a Bose Soundlink II for example. It's cheaper and it sounds a lot better!
Could you do your best to explain the battery's wiring? I'm interested in building this I can't figure out how you wired the battery to the switch and to the input and output.
Why did you put tweeters on inner side? It's different, but it is not good. For portable speakers, where you got all drivers packed in one small enclosure you want to spread the sound stage as much as it is possible, that is why some portable speaker companies put drivers on side panels. With this setup you center the sound even more, which is terrible if you planned a stereo speaker. Overall, nice work. It seems well done and properly sealed enclosure.
Hi bluepigproductions! I sendt you a e-Mail. I would like to know What messurements on the box is!? All of the messurements, volume, outside, material thickness, etc.. BTW i agree with "gatto pazzo 98" that its very elegant design on this! It is a Nice build, well done!
@BluePigProductions Hey man your Speaker mtf Rocks :) want to build me the same but how did you design the inside ? chambersystem or all open and did you isolate it from inside ?
How many liters your box was? I wanted to build mine with dimensions of 30x12x12cm and I got the box size only 4 liters. The same goes for having tweeters with full range drivers. Thanks!
Friend, good evening, could you help me with specifications and measurements? 2 Dayton ND105-4 (you used the 4 or 8 ohm) 4 passive radiators (which radiator specifications) 1 3.2Ah 12v battery (please inform which model) 2 4kHz crossovers (please tell which model)
The names of the songs are:
3:35 - Autolaser & Kenny Queso - Zoo Story
5:01- David Heartbreak - Skyline

finally someone who shares my passion for sealed enclosures. Bet it sounds amazing great work bud.
Project very well done and elegant. You could do a video in which show the internal components and where to buy?
Thank you Man.

Tobias Korsbäck Opload a video of it when you're done
Crazy Experiments You got it. Will start on the box tomorrow. 🤙
Tobias Korsbäck Nice
Hej Tobias - har du fått grejorna? Är du nöjd? Hur stor låda tänker du dig? Nyfiken :)

dayton are the best speaker for this kind of project great work keep it up
It’s good but you should put 2 subs and 2 full range for maximum bass and clairity

Now that's good quality bass you are a boss😎
Muenul Esty Thanks man.
hi .... i m recently been pulled towards bluetoth speakers..... yours is insane... ................. your built is awesome
Mayank Chandra Thank you!
Dude, start a business. This speaker is out of this world. Put i on kickstarter or something!:)
kickstarter? you mean etsy? it's a box, he don't make speakers....
Lol
videos don't do justice holy shit these are loud
It's amazing, but it has a small design problem. The tweeters are too close. They should be as far as possible for more spacial stereo.
nice build pro quiality you should start selling them. give diamondboxx a run for their money. I could see you got skills & ideas. not like those diy boombox guys who use cheap speakers & dont know jack. I

fullpeladas Thanks man!
fullpeladas This uses the same bass drivers as the Model L.
Nice Bluetooth sub-woofer, all I have heard is bases
This time with sound! :')
BluePigProductions is that enclosure custom made or did u find it online?
jureno27 Custom
BluePigProductions are y willing to sell one of the enclosures I'm looking for 1 for my project but can find one like this
Selling would be expensive (shipping etc.) I can give you the dimensions though..
BluePigProductions where did u get it made or did u make urself
can we have the measurements please thank you nice job you did
Super clean build, nice
Woooooooooow really nice! And the music is very nice :D
I look this video after and after again, i just want it...
Nice bass

Sweet! Good job, dude!
I saw so many DIY Projects but still want to build this one. Do you plan to make a HOW TO someday?
Alexander Kugel Yes probably
sounds pretty good but from the video i would say highs are to sharp
I would love to see the plans for replicating this, and I can share mine as well, I have Used Trimble sketchup to do some plans myself but haven't gotten around to building any due to cost.
yes the best so far in that size
awesome boom box.. best I've seen after hours of searching .. would love to know how you build up the crossovers ...
Thank you! Just simple 4kHz crossovers, 1st order.
can we have the measurements please thank you nice job you did
good bass
Sick build!
RWL2012 Thanks! :)

Peter Krull The speakers on the front may balance it out?
subscribed..great job dude

Misschien de ND25FA als tweeter? www.soundimports.eu/nl/nd25fa-4.html
Awesome
Are any similar models in the market? I'd love something like this!!!
please do a build video!!
Matthew Camp working on it!
someone please tell me the song at 5:01 and 3:35 BluePigProductions
@BluePigProductions
5:01 song /David Heartbreak - Skyline
3:35 Autolaser & Kenny Queso - Zoo Story
thank you
OMG that is totally sick. But that would cost about 1000 if you were to sell them retail. good speakers cost money
Mike F I will ask about 350-400 I think. Good speakers cost money but I also want everyone to be able to afford these kind of speakers

Calvin Pas Dank je!
BluePigProductions Hello dude)))what this perfect music 03:35????pleaseeeeeeeeee
Are the rounded edges just router or did you wrap the whole thing in a sheet of vinyl? Looks amazing! :)
dre04mach Just a router and some spray paint! Thanks!
I am really interested in making a DIY speaker just like this one...can you show me the wiring diagram of this build??? i really like to know the wiring diagram for this one... And by he way what Amp did you use???

Hey I am going to put these components in a old piece of luggage and put them in my classic car....
random videos cool!
This is amazing, please tell me, what is the battery chemistry? I can only find 3.2Ah 12v batteries in lead acid
David Favre thats the one I used
David Favre but it's sealed so it doesn't leak, even if you hold it upside down
bluepigproductions. mooi gedaan man 👌👍
any videos on how you built it??
William Palu check out my latest video
damn!! that speaker got power!!!!!!!!
BluePigProductions any chance you could provide specific site links to speaker components that you used? ie to all the items used for the build?
Awesome sounding speaker.
Do you have a link on where you bought the passive radiators? Or one where I can buy similar ones?
Let's see how you built it dude!!.....
great speakers from dayton. I will also make a portable speaker but are they great for that small enclosure 40cmx15cmx15cm?
I suppose you built this, right? If so, how would you say the price of the build and the sound quality compares to a bought speaker? Looks and sounds really good!
Yes, I made this by myself. Everything, including the paint, cost about 150 euros. I think its much better then a Bose Soundlink II for example. It's cheaper and it sounds a lot better!
The Soundlink has very good bass for there size, but if there comes a bass drop, they haven't got treble anymore. So yeah, the Bose is bullshit
Hi, can i get the dimensions for the encloser and the passive radiator?
Awsome build!!
Could you do your best to explain the battery's wiring? I'm interested in building this I can't figure out how you wired the battery to the switch and to the input and output.

Thanks for the great bass sound, its what I'm looking for. Where can I buy one?
Keneti Tanuvasa You can email me at bluepiggieproductions@gmail.com
watching this beautiful speaker move is just amazing i want to build one now. was it hard to make?
It was pretty easy, but I have more experience with speakers and electric circuits so it's easy for me to say.
BluePigProductions yeah i have a little bit of experience what bluetooth are you using?
I used a TDA7492 amp, it has a built-in bluetooth 4.0 module!
Where did you find the passive radiators?
www.etsy.com/nl/listing/288247743/4-inch-circulaire-passief?ref=shop_home_active_11
BluePigProductions
Sam Er Yes?
@BlueBigProductions What song is that at the beginning
This is an impressive speaker, nice job! What amp did you use? Also what kind of batteries do you use for your speakers?
Wow
gread i will make one but with 3.5 inch speakers and withouth tweter
Hi bluepigproductions! I sendt you a e-Mail. I would like to know What messurements on the box is!? All of the messurements, volume, outside, material thickness, etc.. BTW i agree with "gatto pazzo 98" that its very elegant design on this! It is a Nice build, well done!
What are the dimensions of the speaker? i love this speaker
@BluePigProductions
Hey man your Speaker mtf Rocks :)
want to build me the same but how did you design the inside ? chambersystem or all open and did you isolate it from inside ?
Congratulations, what is the total cost of the speaker. regards
Could you link the crossovers you used, I want to make this exact speaker minus the battery, it is absolutely gorgeous
What information can you give on the type of battery and how to charge it properly?
Ben Esteban Sealed lead acid battery and you can charge it with a lead acid battery charger?
sounds really clear that digital display voltage? Wut u use like a small power wheels type battery?
is there a possibility of getting the blueprint to this speaker to build it on my own ?
STEVEtheMASTER92 There are no blueprints, sorry
What battery did you use for the project, and would a lead-acid battery be good for it either?
Can you link the passive radiators?
i just bought all the parts that were listed on the descriptioin, whats else do i need.and as for the enclosure does it matter what size?
It very much matters. Try to build it the same size as this one, or a bit bigger if needed. The speakers will be less effective if it gets smaller
Man I thought it was something you could buy I was gonna probably buy one :(
If you've got 400$ I can make one for you.
Would you ever consider selling these builds?
Kieron Grimshaw Yes I do, for the right price of course :p
will you please make a tutorial
I'm not sure what passive radiators to use
How many liters your box was? I wanted to build mine with dimensions of 30x12x12cm and I got the box size only 4 liters. Are those woofers even going to give me any deep bass if I want to make it with a port? Or for that small size I have to use passive radiators instead of port. My goal is to reach as deep bass as possible in small enclosure.
HotBassBoost 0 Use passive radiators instead. Maybe put some weight on them to increase the (deep) bass response..
Any build videos of this?
Nice one!!
do you have link for the amplifier and crossover please ? Thanks
Amp is a TDA7492, crossover is just a simple 4kHz crossover.
Frequency response?
Can i get links for those passive radiators. Ty
hi give me please links to
Bluetooth 2x50w amplification and
4kHz crossover which you used
So how would you be able to level out the watts and RMS through a 2X25 buletooth set? for having 3 4" 2 Tweeters and the 4 passive radiators and if you wanted to make it by cable instead of Rechargeable how would that work?
Is the volume controlled directly from bluetooth connectivity??
Wat zijn de afmetingen van de speaker?
Wich driver would you recommend for such a speaker?
"Dayton Audio PS95-8 3-1/2" Point Source Full Range Driver 8 Ohm",
"Dayton Audio RS100-4 4" Reference Full-Range Driver 4 Ohm"
or the one you are using.
also: does having 4 passive radiators have significant value compared to 2? The same goes for having tweeters with full range drivers.
Thanks!
Friend, good evening, could you help me with specifications and measurements?
2 Dayton ND105-4 (you used the 4 or 8 ohm)
4 passive radiators (which radiator specifications)
1 3.2Ah 12v battery (please inform which model)
2 4kHz crossovers (please tell which model)
yo wtf did you build nice haha i want that thing
