There looks to be only 2 speakers, a left and right channel. You only need a crossover if using more than 1 speaker per channel i.e. 2 way with a tweeter and woofer.
At first I was like, is that metal sandwiched in there.. No its got to be acrylic and its going to glow.. Awesome build.. we have been watching the same videos.. DIY Perks.. But I have found a better amp if you are interested.. Look up Sure Electronics Jab2 boards they have built in battery charging and voltage protection. Get the optional cables package. High quality amps and no power up thump..
It really is a better product but twice the money... I ordered 2 of those 15 dollar 50 watt boards and both of them failed in one way or another and I just didnt like them( I did hack them a bit so may be my bad lol}. Plus the Sure cables package comes with 3 panel mount leds. A line in input. a 2.5mm charge input and a potentiometer volume knob .. only thing you need to supply is the power switch and knob for the volume pot..... But beyond that I would recommend running your batteries in series parallel.. So it would be a 3s2p. 3 in series, 2 in parallel. So you have the given 12 volts but with double the capacity. Ive been perfecting a boombox for almost 2 years now. And just passing on my knowledge.
Nice choice of feature for the box.
This looks totally awesome!
+Cactus! workshop Thanks! I love your work, so inspiring!
+Nick Charlton thanks man! glad you like it! :)

i wish you have the whole video on how you do this on cnc thanks
Fantastic! Any idea on how to add an SD card support?
Any way I can get the plans, I got to make one for myself!!
Awesome design indeed. Too bad that the BT/amp circuit you used is powering up at some 75% of the volume, so that initial beeping is quite loud...
Fantastic. I love it!
Are you gonna make a soundtest of the speaker? Interested in how a speaker with these speakers sound!
Terrifyingly awesome speaker btw!
got a few things to improve like the battery etc... then maybe?! I'm currently designing something bigger, cooler and much better :)
+Nick Charlton woooohohohoho! Planning on using component speakers instead?
Wow! Would you consider selling the enclosure by itself?
I can send you the designs in return for a donation but I'm afraid I sold the original and the second one I made broke lol

I recently had a similar idea, though with no glowing parts, and two separate chambers for the drivers. i.imgur.com/SgKiC1X.jpg

Gideon Schwalbe yep :) they are pretty crap but the point of this project was aesthetics :)
Fantastic machine.... but dang it cnc machine.
We could not hear a part with a bit bass. Make a normal test :)
because there is no bass. as you can see there isn't a passive radiator installed.
+RunOrDie maybe there is. He just didnt play a music part when the bass dropped. Passive radiator is not necessery
Its not like your house is gonna fucking shake from this,
wow. a glowing peanut lol
pretty much haha!
Good job! subscribe ;)
