I have a Registration Number & Date (or Copyright Number) that I can see online on the U.S. Copyright Office Copyright Public Catalog, but no certificate yet. Does this mean that my works are copyright registered and protected?
Did you get your certificate. If you filed online. It should probably be done by now.
neoblackcyptron no, not yet. It usually takes 8 months to get the certificate.
@@utubevideo1ful Wow, ok. I filed mine just last week. So it looks like it'll be a years worth of waiting huh. Thanks for the info though. Now I know how long I need to wait. Anyway I have started releasing my content online. I started using the copyright symbol at the end of the videos, to keep any potential miscreants at bay.
neoblackcyptron it takes longer to receive the certificate if you mail in your registration information. I do all of my copyright registrations online.
