      At this time there are no conversion kits to change a tiller model to remote control, unfortunately.

    Does 7.5e mean its a 7.5 HP motor equivalent?

    • @MercuryMarine
      @MercuryMarine  9 месяцев назад +4

      Avator outboard model designations are based on the watts of power that each model generates, with the decimal point shifted over two places. For example, the Avator 7.5e outboard generates 750W of power at the prop shaft. The “e” stands for electric. While 750W of power is equivalent to about 1hp, based on our testing, the Avator 7.5e outboard is capable of top speed and 0-4 mph acceleration similar to that of a 3.5hp four-stroke combustion outboard.

      As with any type of marine propulsion system, environmental conditions, boat type and load can influence performance. Based on recent testing with a 380-pound Veer X13 boat, the Avator 7.5e electric outboard can run for 60 minutes at constant full throttle, with one fully charged 1kWh battery. It can run for 2.8 hours at 75% throttle, 6.2 hours at 50% throttle and 19.4 hours at 25% throttle. Our data is based on continuous use at designated throttle level on one full battery charge.

    You know why i trust gas? I can always bring more with me. I can’t charge those batteries while out there. We kicked the mercs and went with 250 suzukis way more fuel efficient and no weird noises after 400 hrs
