Hi - is the weight for these models the same ? And could they move a 2000kg sail boat in tidal waters?

The weight will vary by model/features. Tiller models are slightly heavier than remote models due to the weight of the tiller, and the taller the drive length the heavier the outboard will be. The lightest Avator 20e and 35e models weigh just 47 pounds (21kg). The carrying weight can be reduced to 41 pounds (18.5kg) by removing it from the detachable transom bracket using our exclusive quick-release feature. The 35e has performance characteristics similar to that of a 10hp outboard and has been a popular choice for smaller pontoons. Performance will vary by application, and while we've not tested these motors on an application specifically the same as yours, we're confident the 35e could move your boat about when at port.

Can I charge the 35e with a Solar Panel Array?

Can you use any lithium battery with the system? DIY type battery packs?

The Avator 20e and 35e outboards operate with Mercury’s exclusive Avator 2300Wh battery pack. You can connect up to four batteries using the Avator Power Center, which serves as a hub to merge power for safe operation. Each battery connects to the Power Center with a battery cable, and another cable from the Power Center connects to the outboard.

What are the battery dimensions? I am curious if I can fit one in the compartment under my lounge seat. Thanks.

With the power cable connected, the space for each battery required is 24"x17"x6". Hope this helps!
