Even on real arcade hardware, some lag is still present. I personally think the look of the PlayStation 1 graphics look pretty neat.

Franco, you're the best. Today turned out to be quite a pleasant and productive day helping my grandfather at his local food pantry this morning, and a brand new playthrough of my favorite Tekken game of all time is just what I need to end it all on a high note. Keep up the great work, my good man.
All the beauty of the Namco System 12 board poured into a single game... Tekken Tag Tournament. The best afternoons of my life playing challenges in the Arcades, music at full volume and making new friends, what more could you ask for, and the best thing is that all of that continued on the PS2. 🔥🙏❤

I don't remember the frame interlacing being this crazy. As someone who has played the arcade version of Tekken Tag 1 way more than the PS2 version, this is strange to me.
Arcade had two options for video, non interlaced (240p) or interlaced (480i). I chose interlaced as it looked a bit better imo :)

Yeah, also, doesn’t induce framerate drops like interlace mode does but it looks kinda weird

Tekken Hybrid "Tekken Tag Tournament HD" ps3 is a joy to play on emulator RPCS3 16x increased graphics, amazing game and upgrade. THis is cool to see the real arcade version. Music and animations are always slightly differnt.

Tag 1 arcade would frame drop every now and then and most old games always had high input delay so shouldn't be surprised if it feels "laggy" to you.
It’s laggy because I set it to interlaced mode which taxes the CPU a lot more then if I left it at non interlaced mode
Damn the PS2 port shit on this port. Still looks like a great PS1 title but based on how new ps2 had this game as a first day buy, compared to street fighter 3, that was a masterpiece. TTT1 is a great game based on inputs and gameplay. Would love to see new Grand finals of this at evo or even in the small pools.

I played TTT many times in arcades from Perú and the timing of the game you played looks slowled ( I dont mean about seeable lag ) I dont know what could be the reason. However its very nice to know People still prefer arcade version. Ps2 ver. is totally another game.

I’m using real hardware here, not emulation but idk about the current emulation of the system 12 games, I heard mixed things here and there tho and most don’t seem very promising :/
