Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection arcade Widescreen patch (Namco System 256) as Jin next pls

I've never thought i would see a widescreen patch for an arcade game running on real hardware did you use an 16:9 monitor to match? or was it squished up on 4:3?

Is it possible for the arcade board to be connected to a tv to play or does it have to be a computer monitor?

Also I never realized this until now but, the blue SUV at 8:03 seems to have a GMC logo on the grill. I've only seen it in various arcade screenshots as well as your videos, so it might be exclusive to this version. On PS2 it was removed.. 😮

Looks fantastic, excellent work. It makes me wonder if the console versions could have supported widescreen alongside progressive scan. Maybe they ran into performance issues? 🤔

3:40 through 4:01 Don't mind me, I'm marking that for nostalgia. I was in my first term in the Marine Corps, stationed in 29 Palms, California. This had just come out in arcades worldwide, and we got an arcade cabinet in the junior Marines club. We used to have all night tournaments on this game during the weekends, just getting ripped on booze and throwing down. Great times, that part i marked with timestamps gives me chills every time i hear it, remembering a life i once lived.
