"Jerk and Jollof is the finest clash of cultures we've ever had". 💯💯💯
This debate/fight literally defined my secondary school experience 😂.
There is nothing clashing about chicken with rice.
10:19 shxts X gigs talk
Real one!! Thank you ❤
Thanks, from that point to the end.
As a Black woman from the US (also an Arsenal fan, sorry!), I really appreciated this conversation. I've only heard perspectives from Black women and men in the US and Black women in the UK, so I loved hearing you all's thoughts on this. Thank you for the conversation! Moral of the story, those fools do not deserve our support, periodt!
Not gonna as a fan of SnG I also hated that apology. It has affected my viewership
This is why it is important to have a diverse team- s&g audience are black women- so they should have black women in their team
I’ve heard this, but I don’t think it’s majority black women you know..If so they still wouldn’t be getting half the views they’re getting.
I think more black women watched them than anyone realised but I don’t think they are their main viewers. Maybe in America but can’t say most BW in the UK really watch them and if they do they catch their TikTok’s.
Everyone watches them, true a lot of black women too but they cater to everyone
The apology was embarrassing, they should've owned it and said we found it funny and moved on. Them playing the victim and then getting called out on that by andrew was embarrassing
Shultz "jokes" is racism disguised as comedy. He is one dimensional and has one shtick which is to punch down using racism. Shix & Giggs were well aware of Shultz angle before going on his podcast, they simply didn't care. They were more concerned with growing their audience.
I unsubscribed from them time ago. From once I saw the photoshoots and heard them call each other daddy, I knew who and what they were, and what agendas they were willing to push to blow 🤷♀️
you guys got to keep this set.
1st time listener. Great convo, also good to see a pod of different black cultures ❤
KG with the R&B 'alright" this week
😂😂
Shultz spotted flaws in them mans game, and ran with it. 😂He then did it again with the apology reaction. lol
I watched most of the full pod when it originally came out, I couldn't make it to the end, they were too too awkward on there, plus I'm not even their target audience to begin with. Total contrast to when Kano was on there. Fully enjoyed that one, from beginning to end and Kano held his ground nicely.
Also, @29:54 ngl as a Jamaican I feel like, for me to get offended over Wale's head-back laugh would be insane. Just putting that out there. Let me know if I should be people.. I'm not even sure anymore 😂
I just found this podcast for the first time. Brilliant episode, is there a way to hear your boxing commentary?
Type in 'Undefeated Podcast' for our boxing podcast, or type in 'The Pain Game' to see our Dazn live stream
I’m sorry but if you are looking at Fuhad and James as the be all and end all representation of the culture you are very off. These are two people who luckily had success, who went on a podcast not to inform people about their culture but to banter….its not their pod. They made a mistake and stated that there was no excuse…what more do you want? They can’t take back what they did all they can do is move forward. It’s easy to say what one “would have done” but once it’s show time it’s different. Many people say “if I see Maguire I’m going to cuss him” and then what happens when they see him? They take a picture. I don’t think what they did was right but you have to give them the benefit of the doubt as new star podcasters.
Nah…u hold them to task. A lot of these examples aren’t even from their pod…and why u deleting stuff? Stand on your stuff. I hated it as soon as I see they went on that podcast why do it? Then u can’t even protect yourself and your ppls? Coz your shook? Allow it, they’re not kids
It's also they're views on their own on black women. Not an isolated incident
They said they were uncomfortable but fuhad is there creasing saying 'thats hilarious'
You stand up for your people's period! , fuhad has a black mom- how you gonna just laugh like that
They asked for other parts to be removed but not the parts they were uncomfortable with?
So the views, likes and interaction from black women that makes them money they can accept with open arms, but then can't defend us- cowards man!
When it comes to racism, sexism and misogyny, which was blatantly exhibited in that interview. In what instant would it NOT be a mistake? You know why people like Adam Schultz feel so comfortable speaking ill about black women, because black men fail to protect them. Its almost guaranteed that black men will participate in ridiculing black women.
I completely agree, the only part I disgree is that they didn't do anything wrong. Firstly they didn't even make the joke and secondly they were actually bigging up B women they spoken about the B girlfriend effect before and no one had a problem. They laughed at a joke and so what
just an FYI, the deleting of episodes is not factual --- they deleted their episodes like over a year ago and put it in their Patreon -- just like you use Patreon so do they. i am in agreeance to a lot but you need to make sure your info in factual! the apology is also still up
Supacell= supa melanin cells if u know u kno
🎯
Love this pod. Trav, I beg you let KG land more please. Too often you interrupted him and I could tell he was about to make a very good point. But big up tho. I’m going to subscribe.
Love the show guys. Good for thought, KG shifts attention between Trav and Walee every 2 seconds and his sounds are up and down quite regularly, consider getting him a headset??
Thanks for the feedback We might have to bring back headphones!
Very fair and honest breakdown of the ‘Shxts n gigs’ situation. They just need to come out the closest and appeal to their REAL core audience. 🌈
I didn’t think the joke was that deep but their audience was built off black women. Like you said they weren’t true to themselves, if it wasn’t this it was only a matter of time before they got blamed for something. Audiences aren’t dumb, they can see through fakeness.
And they say men don’t gossip about other men LOL
This is whole a REACH and I’m a black woman 😂.
I was proper waiting to the TEA 😅 Guys this is a reach, some black British podcasters from London have said MUCH worst about black women, some of them you two personally hang out with 😂
I’m happy for you man but I’m still going through trauma from that night
I’m glad this popped up on my timeline. KG is so versatile and unapologetically himself - I truly respect him. Shoutout to the rest of the team too. Congrats on the DAZN commentary. I wish I had known.
Damn, Trav looks like MC Hammer here😂
Facts
The worst “ALRIGHT” I ever head but it’s understandable
11:36 Yikes, I been trying to find the Supacell clip. That might be worse than the Flagrant stuff, ngl. 😬😬
Time stamp is 36:10 🙂

Yeh when I first saw that it jarred me
@@kalishadee8925 Thanks 👍
A man said "the blacks" 🙈 was crazy
Fuhad and James had no business going on that podcast. Andrew Shultz is messy and obnoxious. He’s one of the Rogan 6 that aren’t funny. I really wasn’t surprised by what he said cause it’s on brand for him. However James and Fuhad blaming Shultz when they were the ones laughing is a coward move. A real apology means taking accountability and I’m glad Andrew exposed their hypocrisy. I think the situation confirmed what a lot of people suspected about them.
I dont know about their older podcast comments though i only started hearing shtsxgigs like eighteen months ago 👀
They deleted over 100 clips after the fact because some of them were offensive
Great Episode 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
12:39 they are right though we as a culture sometimes gas things and they ain’t even good 😂😂😂 HOWEVER! Supercell was dope from industry commercials viability to ends! 10.10
Im glad im not the only one who is feeling so emotional
Travis "snap" I went to the first 2 ever shows of the WAHALA show. 1st one I found funny as I thought was a 1 off went 2nd time I was like nar this ain't it I don't like what this is about and represents and I knew slowly outsiders will start creaping into the show for a laugh especially when I saw Kevin J host the 2nd one I was like nar. Plus this ain't the 90s we don't need a whole series theme of this type of stuff. If was a 1 off then cool but this is now a whole show they keep repeating which don't sit right with me.
Shultz has no filter and literally goes at everyone if there's a punchline to land. Those 2 fools knew what to expect if they did their research... they just wanted that American fanbase at the expense of their core audience.
Shxts and gigs apologises. That should be the end of it....i say this cos kg and the other guy dont seem to have a problem going on true geordies podcast (and gleefully attend fight events) despite true geordies islamaphobic derogatory comments dont matter for kg and the other guy. Guess people who make discriminatory comments are not the same.
Good points
Travis, where do you get your haircut?
Slider cuts 🔥
Great episode lads
40:55 I think people misunderstand that clip. Why would you want to be any other race but your own. That's self hating stuff. We dragged Rachel Dolezal for wanting to be Black. It's weird.
Because Dolezal was in a position that’s fought for black people. An experience she knows nothing about
Id also ask the question at what point are you considered a comedian exactly? Do you simply have to tell jokes? I ask because these man have been telling jokes via their podcasts in front of large audiences and have done it live. So in theory are they not comedians now? You watch shows all the time where the hosts are considered comedians but they have never done stand up. Are we segmenting comedians now, do stand up comedians consider themselves the top of the food chain in the comic world i guess.
They do and it’s delusional
Apparently there are only 250 comedians left in the world 🙄(according to rogan)
KG, it took yoy long enough to do a podcast
Enjoying this episode
Kg is a legend and very versatile 👏🏿 I'm happy to see q brothers win
The part I find most interesting in this, and one that I think should have more conversation, is what expectations do we have for podcasters who are essentially just normal guys who have gained an audience. Should they have hugher standards, like youtubers, who gain a lot of stick for everything they do wrong as soon as they get an audience no matter where they came from? It's food for thought from Travis...
Well then what expectation should we have for human beings? All it’s gonna do is expose character. Stop this label of “podcaster”. They are ppl. And for me they didn’t “have to” do anything…but it told me a lot about their approach and how “yes men” they can be
Their audience is predominantly black women- our views and likes pay them- the least you can do is stand up for us a littttleeeee- if they were not comfortable then ask for that part to be removed in the editing no?👀
The KG part about nigerians is interesting because most of their stick os coming from what they said about black woman. Who usually defend their own loudly when they feel wronged as they should. Where as I didnt hear anything about the lack of defence about Nigerians. Even though I'd say their 'fight or flight' response for this discussion is more apparent as Fuhad keeps saying i cnat speak on that and thats your opinion. Clearly because the points they were making did upset him on some level. But again should he have done more, possibly im not sure how much more. He did try to say the sterotypes are for all nigerians and he wouldnt segment them like that for that joke.
Great podcast loved the episode but sometimes ur podcast are way too short at least 80 minutes minimum
Thank you so much!
The audio version of the podcast is unrestricted, check it out on Spotify... but to watch the full episode, you'll need to sign up to our patreon
41:52 candace owens and kemi ,pickney them product of black british assimilation 👀
Great episode
KG smashed it but I also rate travis thinking skills
Today might be the day I get the patreon 🤧😅
No1 can take a joke no more. It’s just words and jokes 😂 once you are offended by words you have lost
Shut up.
Yeah, everyone knows it's a joke, but some jokes deserve scrutiny coming out of certain mouths.
The same way a nonblack person can't use the n-word, even in a jokey way, it's crazy for a nonblack person to think they can make jokes about black people in the presence of black people and not even expect to get checked. James and Fuhad didn't do any checking when the joke was about black women and just laughed. That's a problem when we know black people historically have been repeatedly mocked by other groups.
@@akuaadjei1497 again it’s a loss to criticise a joke, no matter how deep or dark. To even merely take offence or not comeback with another joke you will look violent or one who can’t take a joke, unfortunately.
@@akuaadjei1497 While I agree with "black people historically have been repeatedly mocked"
Be honest, are you really going to a *comedy show*, key word is *comedy* here, to be the one who stands up like a "Karen" to have their say, when EVERYONE is getting it, regardless of race?
The Shutlz podcast was the least of Shix and Gigs problems imho.
@akuaadjei1497 Black comedians make jokes about white stereotypes. Is that OK?
