    Why are you using the old wastegate actuator with just a new eyebold? Did the rebuilt turbo come without a wastegate actuator? Why? It wouldn't be a complete turbo without it?

      I didn’t do a complete or built turbo. Customer bought a turbo and I just pretty much installed it.

    How long does it take to replace the wastegate actuator?

    • @autopurlieu
      @autopurlieu  2 года назад

      Depends how you doing it. I removed the whole turbo , it will be easier to replace the wastegate actuator if removed. But some replace them without removing the whole turbo. Which I can’t speak for that

      @@Coreisus by the book, I think it says 5-6 hrs. But took me longer than that of course lol. Took my time coz I would cuss that turbo out if I tried every time lol

      @Tony Stark I don't see how? Being as you have to pull out the whole engine to even reach the thing.
      All these videos didn't make sense at all

      @@autopurlieudude you're a shitty mechanic. You can replace the pin that's pressed on the arm without removing the turbo with a few parts from the hardware store under 30 bucks and it should take you 2hr max .... Instead you charge customer 1600usd for turbo and what, another 1600 for labour. Hahhha .......
