So many bakers have started using other types of salt (that we don't always have in our pantries) for no good reason that I can think of, and, some don't even specify it when they use a different type, which can lead to unfortunate results! So, one of the many reasons why I enjoy following you Sam. Thank you!
I made these and they turned out EXACTLY like the recipe! Additionally, they were delicious! I did struggle a bit with making 24 - my dough balls initially came out to 36 but I divided them all down to an even 24 to make sure there was enough filling for each. Very good!
I am definitely going to make this for my family. But I’m not going to use all that sugar. It’s a lot of sugar in these cookies but I do thank you for the recipe. I’m definitely going to make it your cookies look delicious..😋😋

The Bible talks about a great statue that was destined to fall, because its feet were made of a mixture of iron and clay, which are chemically impossible to combine into a stable foundation. Sam's cookies mixed with apple pie do not have this problem. They'll stand the test of time! 😃🍪🥧

These apple pie cookies look amazing! I’m definitely making them when the sun stops trying to bake me alive with 95+ degree temperatures. By the way, I was in the grocery store today and I noticed that they were selling Pepperidge Farm pumpkin cheesecake cookies. You might get a surprising number of views if you alter this recipe a little to capitalize on a homemade, much better version of this PF seasonal idea. I’ll keep it a secret where you got the inspiration if you decide to move forward with your version in another video! 😉

@@SugarSpunRun These turned out so good. I used flax eggs and melt vegan butter. It is a strong cookie base that holds the filling so well. I can't wait to make them again for family. I think most everyone will love them. I do have one niece that does not eat cooked fruit.

Can the glaze and the buttercream be made and put in the refrigerator until you are ready to make the cookies?
The glaze will start to set up so I wouldn't recommend making that in advance, but the buttercream will do fine in the refrigerator. :)
