I love how the Faceless Ghouls are suppose to be stoic and mysterious, but you can clearly see they can't help getting into the music when they start playing the song in this clip. Too cool.
I just saw them last night. The Ghouls have so much energy on stage. They’re as entertaining to watch as Tobias.

It's pretty rare nowadays to see a band sound good live as well as on the record (without the use of playback). These guys pull it off pretty well.

During the guitar solo, everyone else is focused on EXCEPT the actual person playing the solo. This shit happens a lot with live videos.

That has only made me frustrated. I like watching techniques and I can’t because of them showing drummers during guitar solos. Or someone in the crowd picking their nose.

I have big respect for Ghost. They had a sound which united psychedelic rock and proto-heavy metal and it worked like magic. All of a sudden they switched their sound to a crossover between 80s synth pop and arena rock. People complain about how they are not a metal band, what they do is basically pop and shit like that. Guess what they are not metal but they still write kickass songs.
He needed to pay the bills . If you listen to Tobias’s interviews he says they had to change it up as they were musicians with him and a ghoul having families .
Unfortunately the masses weren’t into their early stuff even though I thought Papa 1 was great .
Notice how he sends kisses to the audience, and only makes a quick look for the studio people in the left side. Subtle statement.

The band have been completely disrespected during this show, the anchor man did not announce any of the next concert in France, they put an add pause in the middle of their song, they barely spoke to Tobias during the rest of the show and they only showed bad or embarrassing moments for the band like when hellfest fans showed their butt. Im really disappointed because it's usually a good show but they really fucked up
Totally agree with you, I'm french but I have to admit that our tv shows don't deserve this great band. In fact metal bands and metal in general is not appreciated by french medias, I'm still wondering why ghost did this fucking tv show, especially this one is a big piece of shit

I think they learned not to fuck with rockstars after the Iron Maiden incident where they were forced to lip sync and fake play, so they ended up swapping instruments while the song was playing.

@@fallyfrog Le passage sur le Hellfest était un moment de malaise et d'incompréhension pour lui surtout.
J'avais les boules quand ils ont coupé au beau milieu du solo mais bon, Quotidien a quand même le mérite d'inviter Ghost et de leur offrir une exposition devant des gens qui ne les connaissent pas. Il ne me semble pas les avoir vus dans une émission depuis la sortie de leur dernier album. Et puis, je crois - tu me corrigeras peut-être - que c'est la toute première fois que Tobias apparaît officiellement sans masque ni déguisement. C'est presque un moment historique dans l'histoire du groupe. Quotidien a dégoté un sacré scoop ! Après l'interview était bien trop courte. C'était limite insultant pour Tobias.
d'accord avec superpotiron...d'un coté passage TV assez médiocre (en tout cas la couverture)...mais un passage TV quand même dans l'une des émissions les plus suivies à ces horaires...La France n'est pas la Suède...mais Barthès continue de faire connaître ce style...Bon c'est pas l'époque de nulle part ailleurs ;-)

(I'm french and I watched this live at home) During the show we had like 4 commercial breaks, then Ghost came to play Dance Macabre, we had another commercial break DURING the song, Tobias interview (ok, his mask was off) lasted 2 minutes and was really cringe as the presenter only asked a few questions, and they were basic questions like "how long you've been planning to be singer in a metal band ?". I was realy disappointed yesterday. Our tv doesn't deserve a band like Ghost...
