An interesting parallel i found between Tanjirou and Gyutaro is the difference in taking care of their sisters. Muzan himself said Daki was Gyutaro's weakness as she held him back from reaching his full power, but Nezuko is the reason Tanjirou is a Demon Slayer in the first place, his motivation
I always found Daki & Gyutaro’s backstory to be the saddest, where it shows them in the snow as children as Gyutaro tries to keep Daki warm.

The fact that gyutaro and daki( mainly gyotaro did all of that damage and could have won the fight several times and are still considered the weakest upper moons is just unbelievable and just put it in perspective how over powers the upper moon demons really are
Man, Gyutaro is like an demon version of Tanjiro since he cares for his little sister as well, just like Tanjiro with Nezuko

Gyotaro's flesh sickles have the most unique and interesting design in the story..they just look so cool!!!
I don’t know if anyone has said this before but I think the “ritual to the Sun God” was Tanjiros dads way of keeping away Muzan. Kinda like his own way of saying I’m here and I’ll destroy you if you come after me. He just called it the ritual because he didn’t want to rob his kids of their innocence with the knowledge of demons. After he died Muzan attacked and killed everyone to stop their bloodline to make sure no one could stop him. And he probably turned Nezuko into a demon to troll their entire family.
Muzan actually hate daki and less hope for Gyutaro but, muzan makes profit on her. Muzan also says that Gyutaro probably won that fight if daki was not around.
Upper Moon 2 Doma was actually Upper 6 at the time of meeting and turning Daki & Gyutaro into a demon!

It’s Awesome that Daki and gyutaro came from nothing to the sixth strongest demons and became demons so that they can have each other forever 😀

Gyutaro was a deadly character..although he was more like an obstacle...an rock in front of tanjiro that is now sliced in half..so its only logical that tanjiro far surpassed him by the end of the manga
Well it seems like Tanjiro technically completed one of the requirements to become hashira which is to defeat one of the 12 kizukis(and more later on). Considering his current state after the fight, he seems like mid pillar level or along the lines of that.
