- Nouman Ali Khan explains that the ability to speak is a blessing from Allah. In Surah Al-Hujuraat, Allah gives us the guidelines by which we should use our tongues. It is a command from our Lord that we do not violate the rights of others when it comes to speech.

@Rawan Al-Mohammed The problem is that you can't avoid those words . Even in formal settings, I manage to come up across them . I was reading a journal in a sciencemag.com ( A respected article) and I still manage to come up across words like " f**k and " damn " .

May Allah make this easy for us. I really want to become very watchful of my tongue and only utter words that are positive and please Allah swt. Its going to be VERY hard but the rewards are immense and I know ill be tested but it will be worth it if Allah wills x

I just read this very ayat (49:11) a couple of days ago - it's always great to hear NAK's elaboration, his tafseer always makes me wish I could understand Arabic! :)
The dream world wide has started to learn Arabic or join the Bayyinah tv from Januaray..
i teared up a bit listening to the last part of the ayat.

A lot of us will end up hellfire if we don't watch our tongues. May Allah give us a wisdom to hold our tongues.
Lol brother we are Muslims and god created evil put evil in a hearts and blood so sometimes it’s very difficult to control our tongues and to be patient is even more painful sometimes
To be honest, i always felt like this life wasn't reality and it was just a simple passing from this one onto the next one. I've been researching Christianity and Islam, searching for truth. So far I've recollected that Jesus was granted special powers from God to perform the healing on the blind deaf and sick. Most holy scripture i feel is meant to remind us that we are human and to help humble ourselves throughout our journey in life before we meet our creator & much much more, too much to post here on the youtube comments section. I have great respect for Nouman Ali Khan, as he is giving many answers for the philosophical questions most people have & helping humanity to become better/kinder to each other. That is what i think God wants to see on this earth.

Ryan Kadharnauth God gave all the prophets different talents. God gave Prophet Muhammed the revelation of the Quran that through his recitation helped changed the whole arabian penninsula in 23 years. Changed the hearts of people, their way of life their laws, evrything!!!! That is why I believe Islam is the whole truth because its a way of life and a guide to every aspect of your life, marriage, divorce, children, and how to build a strong character. In the Quran it even talks about the big bang theory in chapter 31, about the mountains about the embryo. God knows us more than ourselves!!!

Indeed, God Almighty sent down about 120 thousand prophets (peace be upon them) through out the time; and prophet Muhammad (piece be upon him) as the last prophet. Some of them were performed different miracles with the will of the Almighty. May God Almighty bless & guide you

Speeches, actions, and writings are all recorded by Allah (SWT). They shall be brought against us as evidence and we will be Judged accordingly. There is no way out of this. May Allah have mercy on our souls my brothers and sisters, ameen!

I love Nouman Ali khan a lot. I pray you become like him. I believe if in every part of the world there is a Nouman Ali Khan, this world would have been perfect. One little advice that inshallah might help is to say Astaghfirullah , Laaillaha illalaah Muhammadur Rasool Rullah and Daroow shareef 24hrs a day. If you have am Iphone there is tasbhi app which is great you can count . And also read Quran and salat. Start by this inshallah Allah will make you a very good muslim and give you Jannat.
