The equality of all human beings, races and nations before Allah is highlighted
in verse 11 of Surat Al-Hujurat, where Allah says that no race should look
down on any other race and that the only thing that places one person above
another is, taqwa (consciousness of Allah) and good deeds. This unseen quality
that is only known to Allah is what makes you superior before Him. As
Nouman Ali Khan explains, the verse singles out women who mock other
women and treat them as inferior. Such a societal attitude betrays a spiritual
crisis and can even breed hatred, animosity and even war, between nations.
I'm relating so much to everything you are saying. I've been learning about the Islam for about one month. Stopped drinking even though I've never liked drinking before so I didn't do it as much. I stopped and never drank one drip for about 2 years now. Since I've realized that serving alcohol and working behind a bar is haram I've changed job and with the help of god I've managed to get hired at a new job! I have not yet converted to Islam but learning as much as I can everyday and preparing for the moment I will convert. I feel I'm already there and truly believe in Allah and his prophets (saw). The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who believes in Allah and the Last Day must either speak good or remain silent."

When people mock you, humiliate you, they are telling you who they are and their standard. Thank them for revealing their true identity. People behave based on who they are, take high road and teach them who you are. Don't let them be a leader by following them and treating them in similar manner.

There're soo much beautiful words & wisdoms in the Quran, yet many muslims doesn't realizes it.
Placing the Quran in our shelves just as an ornament won't save us in this dunya & the life after it.
Wow. MashaAllaah at the part where the brother pointed out if you make fun of someone you could be making fun of someone whom Allah loves more than yourself. You just never know. One of the deepest things that I have ever pondered.
"Those of you who have Iman, don't let any group among you make fun of any other group among you. "
Not any group can make fun of any other group.

ameen.. what i believe is that what is happening now is out of mercy. because we did not appreciate the favor of Allah up on us so much. We "forget" and we did not "remember" Allah present above us at all time.
alsanabani with that i remember a moment in Umar(ra) life when he was making a trip from medina to jerusalem with a slave and a donkey wearing some dirty ragged cloth after muslims had conquered Jerusalem to receive the keys of Jerusalem, on reaching there where there were priests and rabbis dressed auspiciously, his general abdullah ibn aljarrah felt embarrassed and told umar ra that o leader of the believers u have certainly embarrassed us, on that Umar ra told him, "we are a ppl whom Allah has honored thru faith and if we were to seek honor in any other way, we'd certainly be humiliated". It was true then and its true now.

There are lots of fitnah among our communities, we should endure small differences without being arrogant etc..
SubhanAllah. One ayah. One ayah is all it takes for inspiration to fill you up and make you happy and at peace. And that of course, is only what this man knows about this ayah. There're even more teachings in this one ayah for the rest of the worlds and those teachings are only the one's Allah has revealed to us; all of these teachings and yet this is all nothing compared to what Allah knows about this ayah. I now know more about this beautiful ayah and so I can now appreciate it more. This lecture Is one of my favourites now. Jazaakum Allah khair. Peace.♥

As a lady, I never get the mocking of another women because I truly never mocked anyone especially clothing or wearings.
Just an example, sister. But it does happen though.
Same here. I don't get it too. But I literally get it from the ladies. It's frustrating. Childish and mean. This is why women say we dress not for men but for women. It's the ladies who will mock you for not wearing LV instead of Coach, not wearing this clothing style instead of that clothing stype and etc.

It is very easy and new way of developing thinking to understand the holy Qur'an.
Alhumdullilah this surah has been coming up for me all day. This is the second kutbah on it I have listened to, I am going to dedicate some time this week to really dig deep inside my heart about this and read ayat by ayat until I feel like I have taken in what Allah SWT is telling me today.

i was sharing some knowledge to a fellow muslim brother, then another muslim brother went in the conversation and talked to me like he was competing, after i told him not to do so and i was finishing my explaination he started looking away and looking to someone else while laughing at me as in mocking, it was pure ego. i felt really offended, i prayed and prayed to let this feeling go away and the revenge i want to take but still there, i recognize alot also in others situations about these explanations

Your khutbahs are a storehouse of such minute details about the characteristics of a true muslim, hidden in the ayahs that you explain. I could listen to them for hours on end , and earnestly apply them on myself. Jazak Allah Khair. May Allah make me a good muslim and save me from hellfire.

As a Muslim I greet Muslims of a different ethnicity especially the women and they walk by as though they don't hear me, some even turn up their noses like they are sooooo much better.

im not so sure but it might be because he is making a du'a (prayer) because there is one particular time when people make du'a (prayer) between two khutbah. im a girl so im not obligged to go for khutbah jumaah. thus not so sure when it is.
Salamz. Its a Sunnah of Rasool SAW. Jummah Khutbah is actually equivalent of 4 Rakat of Zuhr Salah. In between 2 rakat we sit down for Tashahud yes? That is what sitting down resembles. Also if you know the manners of listening to Jummah Khutbah they are as strict as prayer like you can't even speak to shut someone talking. There are many other reasons like someone mentioned about prayer acceptance time. That is also correct and authentic. And Allah knows best.
Because Its sunnah of Rasool sww to sit between delivering khutbah.

Unfortunately some islamaphobic people are most likely among the people who disliked. This video is amazing but some people can't understand that. Alhamdullilah there are far more people who understand and like the video than those who dislike without watching or understanding the video.
