Billy, this is the same thing you've been putting out for the past few years. What I mean is that this is another great release with quality songwriting all throughout. As I've said again and again for some time now, I definitely recommend the newest Billy Cobb record!
The production elements are phenomenal on this. I love the distorted guitars, tight and digital sounding drums, electronic backing vocals, techno-esque synths and key solos, and i love how all these elements compliment each other and effect each other. the second track in particular has some real hyper pop vibes to it on some parts, like the short key solos.
Anytime you release a new project, I am quick to check it out, you're definitely one of my favorite artists of all time. Hearing these songs in an earlier state on your TikTok live over a week ago got me extremely excited for this project and rightfully so. This EP is probably your best so far. The "Bear Album" sound fits well with your work. In fact, this seems a lot more electronic than the Bear Album, and I think the added programming really works in your favor, I think the synth arrangements here are fantastic, in fact, I hope to hear more of these from you. The writing here, the overal vibe of melancholic nostalgia, it scratches an itch in my brain in the best of ways. You've grown a hell of a lot as a musician, producer, songwriter, and singer since the initial release of Strokes and Dollar Store Diamonds. Golden Years is easily one of the best songs to come out this year. Billy's solo material when it's not a meme or trying to be a gimmick just genuinely impresses me, and I wish we got more of it.

Fell asleep in personal finance class to this EP the MOMENT it came out . Though i only remember a littlr bit of the first song befire i fell asleep, i thank billy emensely for giveing me something to drown out dave Ramsey with.
its very rare for me for a song to make me cry, not that i dont have deep connections to some songs, it just doesnt really happen to me, but when i say i cried the first time i heard live forever, i sobbed for at least half the song and all of pink lemonade. this is beautiful Billy, i cant thank you enough.

We had so much fun... Now I have bills and my friends all decided to get out of the suburbs. Can't say I blame them, but man I miss those golden years
