Hey everybody! Today’s video is a fun DIY that is so simple and quick! We pay a lot of money for beautiful packaging so why just throw it away when you’re done with the product?! You can easily turn a lipstick you don’t use anymore into a chic bobby pin or pill holder for your purse or makeup bag, maybe keep one in your car or your desk at work!

This is the second repurposing video I've seen recently for beautiful makeup packaging, and I love this idea. I just bought one of those YSL lipsticks last fall and I don't love the formula, unfortunately. I paid too much to just pitch the lipstick, but now I want to use it up so I can clean out the tube!

Although I do love the repurposing of the lipstick containers, if I’m not replacing my container with lipstick. Can even roll up a few extra dollars in there some mad money.😊
Will definitely try this for bobby pins! I have a Dior lipstick that I don't wear but the packaging is nice so I think this is a good idea

They sell lipstick at the thrift stores in my town, (gross). Now I want to buy them, discard the used lipstick, clean them and use them for storage. Great way to repurpose.

Wonderful Idea! I love repurposing. I reuse tic tac boxes for bigger things like SPLENDA packets and hair binders. This would be great for a rolled $50, smaller earrings, threaded needle, heck any small item you need incognito!

What is the shade of YSL lipstick i like it
It was #17 Rose In Tension but I don't think they make it anymore. They have changed the name of the line since I had this one and there seem to be shades missing from the lineup 😕 Temptalia might have some dupes listed if you check there.

dispense cotton swabs & toothpicks ... put alum foil cutout to keep bottom enclosed when it is not already solid.

Should have froze the lipsticks first. Would’ve saved a lot of effort and waste of lipstick that you got on tissue paper.
Great idea for Bobby pins, unfortunately the tube is hollow at the bottom, if you remove the sticker melted lipstick can spill. I found out when the sticker peeled off on mine.

I tried cleaning but it is really really had and I don’t think so it will be clean
use some makeup remover and keep trying. It will eventually come clean.
