Thanks bro, I love your videos. The information that I want to hear. I had been made to know Amazon as a "bad" place. If you have been ther for more than half a year, then the opposite would be true.
This was my job when I worked at Amazon. I liked the job itself but I didn't like the quotas you had to reach. People used to fight over boxes because they wanted to keep their job which I dont blame them. I also had management yelling at us to go faster when there were only a few boxes on the conveyor. I ended up injuring myself and when that happened, Amazon tried to fire me. I was expected to work at full capacity with my injured hands. I HATE Amazon. Not only because of my experiences there but for all the people that have lost their businesses and have gotten injured because of Amazon. I will always regret working there. At least people get their shit quickly (sarcasm). I hope your experiences are better.
@@saaantacruzand they try to make sure safety is more important than anything else. We would always do stand ups every week about safety. Last week, someone broke their toe. I thought they had a strict policy on steal toe shoes 😐
That "people fight over boxes" is so ture bruh. Like why do we have to fight over it. I get that we have get good quotas but most of the times it's mostly boxes with not that many inside. I left that area and went to inbound dock. It's so much better. Although what this guy is doing isn't what the title says. It looks like he's doing Receive/RPND.
Ahhhh I start Wednesday September 15 I'm curious as to what I'll be doing cuz my paperwork says I was hired as Fulfilment Associate but my department is at a sort center? Idk I'm so confused lol 🤣
Well it’s a warehouse job it’s supposed to be like this but I enjoy it I just work at my pace I hope your day goes fun and that you don’t get stowing or picked and get something fun :)
yeah anything inbound is really the way to go.outbound is hectic...I started in decant and moved to lineloader or do pallet building..and sometimes do a little vrc..i love inbound.
I have a question, I was about to apply on the website but all I see is warehouse and team member, is there a way to get a curtain position like if I just wanted to do stowing or do I just apply for warehouse and pray they give me the position I want... thank you for the videos btw
Well yes there is at (amazon.jobs) and there should be others jobs available in your city not just warehouse or team member or seasonal but if you have experience you may qualify for one or the other but sadly to say they best way to get stow is to apply as warehouse or seasonal or team member and it's give randomly by needed amount of people on each shift but it's mainly stower as your first roll or picker !!!and thank you I love the sopport from you guys I try my best to give more videos out soon!
@@alfredoj9791 I do it sometimes but at my place we only have 1 line and 3 line and the 4 line is only for toats so we only give toats to 1 like and another guy to the other easy but I feel you bro and idk your schedule I work Thursday -sat 12 hours shift but I picked a extra today!

When you are doing decant, how the hell do you handle a box with a ton of different items? For example, I pulled a box off the conveyer that had 999 items in it, every single one of them were different, or had different barcodes. They were a bunch of tiny packages of jewelry. I scanned around 300 of them individually and put in the tote, but then I started getting errors and couldn't scan anymore. Had to set the box aside for problem solve. There is no way other people are scanning all those items individually, there has to be a better way somehow, but at my station it told you how many items are in there, you can't just dump them all in without scanning can you? This issue and the crazy SJW people there caused me to quit after 1 week working there....
i just started yesterday and my average was 12 to 18 boxes an hour learning how things fit and when to decide to divy it up into many boxes. today i went in after thinking about how to improve since last night and got it down to a science :P busted out 55 per hour today on my second day and the area manager was impressed :P. i wanna get out of decant so bad and into a better position. shooting for Learning ambassador and then higher . hoping to get out of the tiers and into levels through their company to support my family. it was funny because the scan gun said " stop the belts the rates are through the roof lol. i laughed and my learning ambassador thought it was great too.
That was a pretty rough display of decanting. 😂
