First week there, but I'm pretty sure it's decanting. In an AR facility: Decanters - Take things out of boxes and put em in totes (he just had all big items). Stowers - Take things from totes and put them into cubby-like pods. Picker - Take specific items from pods that were ordered and put em in other totes. Packer - Take things from the totes and put em in boxes to go to customers. There are tons of other support roles in between. Thing is, the listings I've seen don't have these tasks on them. They've all said "Fulfillment Center (FC) warehouse associate" and we were parted out on day one to different sections, though there is opportunity to transfer or cross-train into multiple roles. Also note, there are at least 3 different types of facilities (Fulfillment, Sortation, and delivery,,,IIRC) so the need for his specific role isn't guaranteed everywhere.
I work at Amazon in Austin, TX. They do not drug test us because it would literally shut the whole building down because about 80% of the employees would be fired. The only drug test you get when you go to your first recruitment appointment to take your picture
I have a lot of fun here at missipi bro... They put me in ship dock it's like a war zone in my department but I like it.. what I notice is there's a lot of lazy workers.. but I don't mind theme I just work hard....
Who is doing the recording? Amazon policy is no picture or video recording and most of all no cell phone usage. Is this worker doing a promotional video for Amazon so they can use it to recruit new employees. So I see a comment states he a good worker, well, a good worker he may be but he also is a worker that violates Amazon's policies. Glad he is a good worker and loves his job but what he is showing in this video really does not match with what Amazon workers really go through each day from meeting quotas, favoritism, poor leadership/management, daily violation of policies/procedures by leadership and employees and etc.

I just simply gave my comments to the video and their was no attacking....just legitimate questions and statements of truth. I asked questions and made my statements of truth because I too work at Amazon. But you are the Karen since you want to attack me with your ignorant and unqualified response instead of providing an intelligent response that we could perhaps dialog on. It still amazed me that people want to put themselves in the position of posting on social media but they themselves and those that like what they post can't handle response from people that don't fawn all over them or idolize their post or worship the person. You cut boxes open,scan box empty contents count and scan multiples,break boxes down and if u don’t work at this rate…they fire you.
