This is so dada. When I was 2 or 3 years old, my dreams looked like this. Empty white hallways with many doorways but no doors. On occasion a polygonal human would present itself. It tries to talk to me but it has no face. It tries to interact but cannot react to what I say. I was born in 2002 and this bring me back to those years when I lived in a seaside town (I could see the sea from the window of the room where I had the PC, classic old PC with cathode ray tube monitor, Windows XP and floppy disks box). Sure, he used to love his job, writing poetry, books, love letters, hell even TSA reports were pretty swell, and the guy did it so well it was no big surprise when he stopped climbing the corporate ladder at the top. But that's the thing about being on top, there's not much else to aspire to when you're already number one. You can keep improving, sure, but when you start out working on your hands and knees and move all the way to management sometimes you lose sight of the things you loved about your job, and by extension, life itself.
It's not his fault really, he just wanted some money for the wife and kids. Maybe even put some in the bank for retirement later on down the line, but it's been what, twenty five years? The kids are all grown up and drugged out and slumming it down in the inner city with all the other hipster kids. One of the prodigals even moved back in for a few weeks before the cops had to evict him.
Poor guy. Still don't even know why or what happened or what's happening in the world that makes these things just sort of _happen,_ you know? I mean, we were all young and got in trouble once or twice, right? Maybe the poor kid just needs some time to dust himself off and get his gumption back.
Anyway, number one's gotta look after himself in the end, so maybe that's why we don't see him all that often any more. Guy's got a whole world of work to do, and that's only his Monday we're talking about here. Maybe one of these days he'll start slowing down and No.2 will have to take up the rung in his place. Guy's only been here just about as long as the rest of us.

This is so dada. When I was 2 or 3 years old, my dreams looked like this. Empty white hallways with many doorways but no doors. On occasion a polygonal human would present itself. It tries to talk to me but it has no face. It tries to interact but cannot react to what I say. Portraits of primary colored 3D shapes over a sky-clad backdrop decorate the walls in some of the spacious and airy rooms. 80s style music is played over a PA. And you don't walk anywhere. You glide.... I'm 27 years old now and I can still remember these dreams as if they occurred last night. It is almost frightening that this video captured these images so well.

I was born in 2002 and this bring me back to those years when I lived in a seaside town (I could see the sea from the window of the room where I had the PC, classic old PC with cathode ray tube monitor, Windows XP and floppy disks box). This reminds me of that Spring sunny days, with this warm wind and the smell of the sea that were coming from the window of the room where i was playing Zuma or Pinball, or when, again in those spring days, I went out for walks with my mother. Everything was fine, I was happy and carefree, the only concern was the few homeworks for the next day. All of this will never come back, and that makes me sad but songs like this help me to go back and feel, even if only for a short time, some of that peace and lightheartedness I had as a child. How much I miss those good old days...
