Everything that I noticed that makes this super authentic: - The entire timeline of the source is traversed several times over. - There are extremely sudden jump cuts from one sentence at the beginning of the source all the way to the end and back again. - None of the sentence mixing is done with just the audio; the video file is also shuffled around. - Nearly every noun used in a sentence is replaced with a noun from a different sentence. - Constant repeats of the most minor actions every few seconds. - Looping a note or two of the music used in the source for no particular reason. - "X is X!" - Random use of Running in the 90s somewhere in the video. - Sentence mixing is used even when the phrase as a whole doesn't make sense, but the words from different sentences blend together in such a way that makes editing them together weirdly smooth and simple. - Sex jokes and bathroom jokes are used sparingly and in equal measure, rather than one or the other being the basis for all of them. - Bizarre speed-ups and extreme slow-motions used whenever any character makes a sound that stands out, even if the result isn't really all that funny on its own.

I've been watching these things for the past few days and sweet jesus, I think this one's made me laugh the hardest. I'm not one to fully appreciate the throwback gimmick as much as others but regardless, the dialog edits are probably some of the funniest and sharpest I've seen. Top notch gut-buster.

I'm genuinely amazed at how much attention to detail there is. I never realized YTPs were an entire artform with different schools of thoughts and well known, influential auteurs.
