- The false claim that Slovakia opposes NATO and is instead turning toward Russia was made using a video posted on Twitter on March 10. However, the video takes out of context a protest involving Slovakian MPs from nationalist parties about an agreement between Slovakia and its NATO partner, the United States. Little insight into how Slovak politics works for past decade or so: govenment is kinda chaotically and with lot of corruption around doing whatever is making Slovakia's position in EU as stable as possible, opposition screams that they would be doing exact opposite. But when that very same opposition gets elected, they only swap places but continues doing exactly what previous governments were doing.
TLDR: Dont worry guys, Slovakia wont backstab EU or NATO any time soon.

The whole thing is more complicated, politicians want to stay in NATO and the Union, but some people do not see the positive results of being in these organizations and take it as a threat not to be neutral in a possible war.
The current government is trying to play it on all sides, not to support Ukraine directly, but also not to block support and get along well with the Union.
But it is difficult to predict how the situation will develop in 4 year in new votes.
