As a Jay's fan I have grown to love Mitch Williams. Reminds me of David Wells, tell it like it is.
I'm a Cubs fan and I love Mitch Williams. I would love to see Marquee Network hire him because I always appreciated Mitch's honesty and knowledge of the game on MLB Network. He's a straight shooter, no B.S. Always has been.

My memory as a yankee fan of the 1996 post season was watching a teammate hiding his face while Mitch pitched his ass off. I agree with Mitch curt doesn't belong in the hall of fame. For that alone as far as I'm concerned
I am getting very concerned about the drive to take down the right to free speech. Schilling. like the rest of us has a right to express his feelings. If you don't like it, don't listen or just ignore it. This country needs to back off on those who disagree with the current status quo. Sounds too much like the things we fought against in WWII and subsequent wars.
I agree with Mitch on the DH. I HATE IT! Guys are all specialists now, no more ballplayers.
I respect where ur coming from but hitting a baseball is arguably the hardest thing to do in sports.And pitchers suck at it.Plus why not extend an older star by letting him hang on for another year or so doing that
@@cheddarcheese7928 You hit the nail on the head in what I said... everyone is a specialist... so pitchers ONLY pitch, they aren't asked to do anything more. I don't like it. I don't think a one dimensional player is a star. Dave Kingman... perfect example. Was he a star. The guy could PUMMEL the ball... but he didn't hit for average... didn't run the bases well, and was a liability in the field. Why should he be able to ONLY hit, when you have a guy who worked hard to be an all around player? No one expects a pitcher to hit .300, but why can't they put some effort in to learn to hit the ball, learn to bunt, learn to do MORE? Again, I disagree with one dimensional players in baseball, that's one of the reasons the game sucks so much. Look at the 80s... they game was FUN then. It's not fun now.

It's amazing that Mitch was on WIP talking to Angelo a couple weeks ago (Jan 2021) and not only expressed the exact same thoughts as this interview from I guess August 2020, but the exact same sentences word for word as if it was scripted.. Not one deviation in the WIP interview knocking Curt as this one
PS.. Politically speaking Curt is 100% correct in his views
