Yeah let’s not talk about the elephant in the room. The hordes of homeless camping the sidewalks
And high taxes. California has been voting the same people for decades and this is what we got.
Homeless? They're peaceful non-domestics. Haven't you heard?
Honestly it’s not like that at all. They’re off to the side of ditches and mostly out of view. Unless you go to the heart of LA and San Fran which most Californians avoid like the plague.
That’s what democrat ideologies do

Speaking about the exodus without mentioning the high taxes, the homeless (and all the social related problems) etc. is like speaking of the Titanic without mentioning the iceberg.
Ppl have been moving out in droves from this state since I came here back in the early '80's from VA. They moved to Pacific Northwest, Las Vegas, NV, and Austin, Texas. There aren't too many safe places from disasters be they Man-made or Natural, and it doesn't matter which Party You belong too.

@@NanciesArt11 natural disasters don’t make democrats want high taxes, or mid use of tax money to fund their “work” agendas. You realize California use to be profitable. Sense they went democrat and all woke they are 20 million in the whole.
The biggest California problem is a Democratic party in power for dozens years without alternatives, and let's name this party correctly they are socialists not democrats, furthermore their leftist policy is fully backed by big local corporations, so they are corporative socialists and their agenda looks very like a socialist Mussolini platform at the beginning of XX century in 1920 in Italy, that Mussolini who ended as a Hitler ally during WWII.
Ain’t nothing left in California but high rent prices and fires.......I said this 2 years ago 🤷🏾♀️
I have a feeling rents and house are coming down soon . But yeah we do have crazy idiots here in California. It starts with the governor .
And LOTS of lefties in charge......and THAT is the major problem.
Liberal Democrats and socialist policies. If you won’t live in CA don’t vote for any Democrats!

We moved out of San Diego, California six years ago and settled in Western North Carolina where the cost of living is much lower and the quality of life is much higher! We are saving about $1200 per month through reduced taxes, lower utility bills, lower gasoline prices, lower food prices, etc. Plus, people in general are much friendlier!!

Nobody ever says, "I'm excited to move to Delaware!"
Not Even Wayne and Garth
Could be nice. They have, um.. someone help me out here
California has become a shithole, homeless allowed to live in streets , urinating and shitting in the street near businesses instead of being forced to live in a designated area with portables provided . Sanctuary city where anyone is allowed in, no more borders just laws for certain immigrants who want to come. Taxes constantly going up with no improvements being evident. Let's not forget the liberal policies destroying public education, just ask teachers why so many are leaving the job. I should know. Its so sad what has happened to California. Its turned me into a conservative after 30 yrs of voting democrat.
Delaware is amazing...I live here...but now I get why housing has become way overpriced...never thought people from CA would come here...hope Delaware doesnt end up like CA...ugh
@@airot1987 I'm sure Delaware is nice but I can't see a ton of folks running there unless there is some industry that can't fill a lot of jobs. It seems like the husband was able to find a job, and his wife would find one as well. I"m not sure why they felt they had to move out of state, instead of just moving to northern or central CA. There are more reasonable large cities to live in where the costs of homes are less, and they can still get a good job. Not sure why everyone must live in the most congested cities like la, or San Diego. I think the economic market overall before spring next year may change the housing market but let's see...
Just remember why it is you moved! Don't California the other states!!!

Lol... you are actually dealing with people who moved to California from other states, and these people destroyed California and are now moving on to other states. Part of it simple supply and demand. So many people have moved to California since the post war period up until about a decade ago that the supply of housing simply couldn't keep up with the demand.

Please tell the residents that no one wants them to bring California politics to the state they move to...best thing..just stay there in cali.
Aww, don't you worry your pretty little head about that!
Lots of fake story. The data simply doesn't support this story of the mass exodus out of CA, this has been the claim for the past 20+ years. It's simple supply & demand, if all these people are leaving and few people are moving to CA, CA population would decline and real estate prices would be falling, but it's not, CA population is increasing and real estate price is still climbing... Republicans like to claim they're all about wealth & growth, yet, the poorest states in the Union are Republican controlled and the wealthiest states are Democratic controlled, with the exception of TX, but unlike most states, TX got much of her wealth through cheap oil, yet CA is wealthier than TX in terms of GDP, and even in per capita bases.
As for me, I worked & earned money in CA, where I could earn more than most other states, and when I retire, I might leave the country am move to the Philippines, where the cost of living is far less than ANYWHERE in the US especially for medical and dental procedures, and eldercare in the US is stupid expensive. They have some of the most beautiful beaches in the World, and English is the official language of the Philippines... The major negative is I'll have to put up with Houston's type hot & humid weather and I wouldn't be able to own land...

That is the thing. The californians are so balls deep in MSM and commie politics. That they dont even acknowledge why the state went to sh**. The agenda for commies in california is to intentionally cause strict policies, so people can flee. And spread the commie disease.
It's happening just as I said it would...the healing phase of being "scared to death " is pneumonia. So as people are released from the solitary confinement of their homes (because of media and government lies based on the fraudulent Germ Theory), and people begin to get happy and feel less stressed, the result will be the healing phase....of pneumonia. Then the "experts" will panic and close everything down again because they have no clue what causes illnesses, and martial law will take effect. The fear campaign has caused ALL the illnesses, not a Boogey Virus. The Germ Theory has been a lie for 100 years. Thanks public schooling.
Every disease is based on the Germ Theory, which was the theory of ONE man over 100 years ago. It was never proven to be 100% valid. In order for a theory to be valid, it must be reproduceable in each and every person 100% of the time. If you cannot "catch" cancer, arthritis or diabetes from another person, then you cannot "catch" a cold or flu. There is no such thing that only SOME diseases are communicable, but not all. It's either all or none of them...they are all based on the same Germ Theory. What the media and government is doing to people is criminal. Western Medicine is based on fraud.
I've actually never met anyone in my 61 years that said: "I'm moving to Delaware." NEVER.

@Vivial Camacho You are exactly right! California has suffered from high population surges over the years. A good amount of California’s population growth is from outsiders/ transplants moving from other states over to California. Even the majority of the homeless population are not from California. They get bussed in from other states that don’t want to deal with them. Somehow this fact always gets overlooked when people want to hate on the golden state because it’s likely people who were not natives to begin with. Unfortunately these people move back out to other states and give California a bad reputation.

You’re-any person, really-not supposed to be able to afford that. The value shot up because of the desirability of the area. When something is in low supply and high demand, it’s value goes up. That’s a hell of a come up though congrats.
The reason it’s worth that is because someone would pay dearly to live in the area. It’s not even really about the house itself

I hate to say this, but you may have a point. Most of the structure that one sees in the rest of the country started in either California or NYC. Whether that be fashion(NYC and LA), the concept of pod-like suburban subdivisions (Orange county), high tech innovations (Silicon Valley), popular slang (NYC and LA). It starts in these places and then propagates out to the rest of the nation. Historically, this has been the case.
