- hello mga kababayan, itry nyo po ang recipe ng aking pandesal at talaga namang very tasty and very soft kahit 1 week na!!! pwede rin po itong pang negosyo, maliit na puhunan cigurado ang kita! walang labis walang kulang sa recipe na ibibigay ko sa inyo, no secrets ibibigay ko para naman makapag start kayo ng successful baking.

3 3/4 cup bread flour
3 tsp INSTANT YEAST
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 cup or 100 grams light brown sugar
1 tsp salt
4 tbsp powdered milk
1 egg
2 tbsp margarine or butter ( kng meron kayo star margarine mas maganda siyang gamitin)

Made this twice already and both came out good. It’s soft and taste even better than the Filipino bakery I have tried. Can’t say how long my pandesal stay soft coz my family can finish the whole batch in two days 😀. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Update: Third try and was able to save some to test if will stay soft after 7 days. Result, yes still soft even after 8 days! This is my go to recipe now even used it for my Spanish bread. 😀

Hi, thank you for your recipe. I also use milk powder also but I mix it with the water. This prevents stickiness while kneading. Another trick is to place your bowl with the dough inside a bigger bowl with warm water and place this inside the microwave to help the rising process. I enjoy learning from you and many other bakers.

I've made these today. Naaaapaka sticky ng dough gusto ko ng sumuko. Ang ending, naaaapaka sarap, malinamnam, malambot, saktong tamis, pinaka masarap na pandesal sa buong mundo. Ate kong Crysta, maraming salamat sa pag share ng recipe nato!! Mabuhay ka hanggat gusto mo!!❤❤❤

Hala 2 hours ko ni-re rest ang dough bago i-cut and shape tapos 15 mins na rest ulit... kaya siguro matigas mga tinapay after half day palang :( Thank you po sa sharing ng technique

Thank you so much for this perfect recipe. My tips to others:
1. I use rapid rise yeast on my first try. 2nd try is bread machine yeast. Both are ok.
2. If you dont have a scale, 100grams of sugar is 1/2 cup (packed) to achieve 100 grams. Personally, it’s a bit sweet for me. You can adjust it as you like.
3. Next is your butter, it should be room temperature and not melted or hard.
4. I use stand mixer for mixing. Do not add more flour. On my first try, my mixture was wet. Super wet. I added a spoon of flour and mixed it until the dough came together and sticks on the hook. That was 20 mins. My 2nd try was perfect. I followed the same instruction but this one was different. It was perfect. Not soupy wet. It all came out good. You will know when the dough is ready as the dough wont tear anymore when you stretch it.
3. Tip on proofing your dough. Set the oven to 170 F for 2 mins and put you dough. Leave the light on in your oven.
4. After proofing, push out the air before cutting the dough.
5. I live abroad and we use Farenheight. Preheat the oven to 325f and bake your bread for 17 mins.

@7:37 pm, I must say my pandesal are very tasty, soft & fluffy. I just have to reduced the sugar about 1.5 tablespoon coz trying to cut down on sugar. Half of the pandesal I put ground pork sautéed w/ onions, tomatoes & potatoes and a bit of soy sauce kind na like empanada filling and they’re amazing. I used 50 grams for 10 pcs and the rest are 35 grams. Thanks for sharing your recipe. God bless and more power to you!

I’ve been looking for a perfect pandesal, I’ve tried baking lots of different procedures and ingredients of pandesal and I can say that yours is the best among all the pandesal that I’ve tried on. The freshness and softness after 5 days is still the same. I sooo love it. Thank you soo much for sharing your delicious pandesal. Sobrang Sarap at super perfect sa morning coffee ko. I bake on a Sunday and good for 6 days. Lovely 😊 keep up the good work. Now that winter has started here in Canada , baking would be one of my hobby so I don’t need to travel so far to reach the Filipino store just to buy 10 packs of pandesal. It's a good recipe and I had my wife translate,unfortunately I kneaded the dough on a furniture grade table and now it has a hint of lemon pledge.

@@crystachannel9296 I use imarflex mixer yung mura lang, it helps also pero masaya pa rin I masa ng kamay after mixing it there for few minutes. I love this recipe of yours! TSM! 💖
How do you adjust the measurement if using liquid milk?
I used 6 tablespoons of whole milk pero medyo diluted so I added about a tablespoon of flour during kneading. It was really sticky but just be patient and you will achieve the desired texture after kneading manually for about 15 minutes. I hope this helps. 🙂

Thank u sa recipe!! Tried this na po and malambot po heheh gamit ko ang mixture and 15 mins siya knead sa mixture ( para ma achieve ang " window pane effect" ng dough ;) . Very helpful eto sa akin since gawa ako marmihan then lagay sa ref then initin lang no need na lumabas lalo na at medyo malayo ang bakery.
