“When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.
“I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.
“When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.
“Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.”
Kudos for the Video clip! Excuse me for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you tried - Chiveard Discovering Potential Framework (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good one off product for finding your true calling and achieving success without the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my GF at last got cool results with it.
Thanks. This made me realise how selfish I am. I have no goals or objectives and couldn't care less what people people think about me when I am dead! I am a real loner, I suppose. I know a lot of people like me. I wish I could follow the tips, but they seem impossible.
Your Awesome My Brother! I do try to help Our world with Addiction/alcohol problems, i have a couple of videos up, not a lot of hits, but I'll continue anyway, Thanks!
Spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. And getting God back in our government and schools. To stop the evil that is spreading across this country.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work, driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to a job that you need so you can pay for the clothes, car and the house that you leave empty all day in order to afford to live in it. I turned seventeen in July. But I feel like I’m not growing and maturing in anyways. Instead, I’m reverting back to my timid, fragile and social-anxious state. Any advices. (I thought we are not suppose to have purpose, cuz it wrecks your mind.) kay gotta sleep more
Hey Ja, I have social anxiety and I find that focusing on what's important to me (values, purpose, goals, etc.) helps me to feel better about things. At least I believe what I'm doing is right and at the end of the day, it's what I think that either makes me anxious or focused or relaxed... it's my own doing. it's not on anyone else but me. Just focus on what's important to you and try to forget what anyone else thinks. I've been thinking about doing some videos on this topic... let me know if you'd be interested in learning more. Thanks for stopping by!
I get confused with mission, vision, impact, goals, purpose. Why is it so layered, hierarchical and complicated? The questions related to flow :"what energises you, what inspires you, what makes you lose track of time" are very subjective. You may be operating on a higher plain in terms of answering those questions, but most people are not. To me it feels like Purpose is being pushed onto others. The argument of looking for passion vs working at something until you develop competence is a valid one. Arguing that purpose etc is a given and a necessity may be too one sided. It is much easier and oversimplified to assume all socioeconomic, cultural and demographic groups have Purpose or need one. Inferring that "following your passion" will lead to purpose s misleading. The world is littered with well intentioned but unsatisfied people told to follow their passion only to struggle and flounder. We need to stop generalising that Purpose is the answer to all the above questions; resliance, integrity, work ethic, compassion are the types of "skills"and values the world and its citizens need.

Ha. Great quote. Yes, normal is normal but it’s not sane
