In my opinion, Master System wins in screen aspect ratio while Game Gear wins in graphics and soundtrack. Seriously, Gigapolis sounds way better in the Game Gear version
I've been a Sonic fan for 30 years and never knew that Chaos and Blast had Master System versions! Why can't we get these on NSO instead of the crappy Game Gear versions from Origins?!
I never knew the Master System had a Sonic game. I had always thought Sonic Debuted on the Genesis for some reason. I thought this was a rom hack when i seen it.
Master system and gave gear had several sonic games and even sonic 1 and 2 for these systems were unique and not same as genesis. Worth knowing that master system and game gear use the same internals and they both had a long life after the genesis had already been released

This game is ok, had it's good stuff but also forgetable stuff and accesing the special stages can be a pain but it's a fine game
Interesting. Sonic can spin burst on here but can't on the genesis Sonic 1.

Actually sonic did debut on genesis and this was released after the first two genesis games as this came out on game gear as well
Also a good amount of sonic games were for the master system including this, Sonic Blast, Sonic 1 and 2, etc

Sonic has quite a few games on the game gear. Sonic 1,2, Chaos and even dr robotnik mean bean machine. But the latter 3 we’re Europe exclusive.
