Well I learned something new!! My eyes are exactly like yours and I had no idea that puffy lid is actually a protruding tear duct gland, never heard of it. I just found out a couple years ago that I have severe dry eye issues ( I thought it was normal that I couldn't sit in front of a fan or a drive with the windows down) I'm 48 and with menopause hitting me harshly now my eyes are so much worse. I just found your Channel and I'm so happy I did and now I'm going to go through and watch all your other videos.... thank you so much for posting and please do more eye makeup looks because nobody I have ever seen has addressed this,... and it's extremely difficult especially because the crease in the eye becomes so damp and everything creases or disappears. [ just did a little research and its called a Lacrimal Gland and some of the photos are terrifying]
Love this series! question: I need to try the Skyniceland eye gels, but can’t access your link , which I try to akways use . Should I use ULTA LINK ? ( not a RUclipsr 😂) thx❤❤❤
Beautiful! Mixing colors before applying is the best way to make use of those too dark shades in palettes . I just wish more palettes came with more or larger light shade options as I go through the light pans much more quickly. Alter Ego just released a dupe ( Day something…Day Dream, Daylight?) for I Need a Nude! Yes, please do a comparison! The color area of the eye is the Iris. The pupil is the center of the eye that fluctuates in size to moderate how much light enters the eye. 😊
lol - yes, I remembered about iris/pupil - but in that moment I was having a brain freeze! I'm a little embarrassed, but such is life! Alright, I'll take a look at that palette and see what I see! xo
Oh speaking of brows, I was dead set on having microblading done. I'm 62 and my brows are sparse and light then it took over 3 mo's to be able to get it (no Tretinoin for 3 weeks, then no aspriin for 3 weeks, etc...) just one thing after another kept pushing my appt off. Then I learned about the aftercare, no getting them wet for idk how may days, etc.. considering I need to put makeup on for work daily I finally decided that it was not for me. I begged off, lost my $50 deposit yet and happy I decided to forgo the procedure. Brow pencils will have to continue to have a place in my routine.. just something I thought about when you were speaking about your brows (you have a lot more than I do!)
Kiki - fabulous video! You look effortlessly put together with the elegant quiet luxury look I think looks best on most women regardless of age and eye shape. Chef’s kiss!
this is one of my favorite eye looks of yours ever, and actually looks like something that will work on my puffy, hooded eyes. I actually find this more complementary to hooded eyes than more involved eyeliner looks, I'm so grateful for the guidance. You look gorgeous!
You are so knowledgeable Kiki, I’ve learnt loads from you. You have beautiful eyes which don’t really need make up. I look dead without some eye makeup, so you’re very lucky.
Seems as you get older you lose hair where you want it and gain hair where you don’t. Your eyes look great. Love the mapping technique you demonstrated.
Kiki, you know when I first started watching you, I really noticed your eyes. Now, for whatever reason, not sure what you are doing but they look so much less troughed. What's your secret? Your eyes really look amazing if you compare them to say a year or so ago... It's magical! I never noticed that your shadow didn't appear blended, always looked great to me..
Thanks Renee! I think the biggest change I've made in the last two years is a dedication to getting 8 hours of sleep! It takes a while to see the difference, but that and the DRMTLY Advanced Eye are the only changes. I decided to work on my sleep habits purely for brain and body health - but I think it's helped my eyes as well!
Before applying a dark pencil on your tight line, dry your tight line with a-tip then add your pencil followed by a little dark eyeshadow applied with a q-tip. It will last all day and not transfer to your waterline.
My eyes have always been hooded. At 58, my eyes are even more hooded with the added joy of being laterally downturned. I almost went for a consult for a blepharoplasty, but I don't want to be tempted right now. Your videos are so helpful. Thank you so much.
That was fast! But I believe she has a million followers and am not surprised. No doubt, they'll be re-stocking in the coming months. When I get an alert, I'll post on my community page!
You look so classic! I love it. I feel like whenever I try to do anything minimal, i just look washed out. I dont think I could ever go without blush or at least bronzer, but it looks so classy on you! I also have troughs under my eyes and I go back and forth with powdering or not. And again, not powdering looks good on you. The glow you have looks more youthful. I am going to try those eye patches, at $20, what is there to lose! One question for you, I have hooded eyes, esp in the outer corners so I get a downturned look very easily despite trying to avoid taking the shadow out to far, but I also have very prominent brow bones with a yon of space between the eye and brow. Would you suggest taking the shadow up higher to lessen the space? Thanks for any advice! Love your calm nature and classy looks.
Yes - for sure take up the shadow higher - but make sure it's not too dark or it can start to look like an "evening-look." Also, when done, use a bit of concealer on the outter corner to help lift up the eye - very key when the hood folds lower than the lower lash line!
Your videos are in a class by themselves. Wonderful! Thank you. Your earrings are understated and beautiful.
Thank you so much!
I really really really like your make up aesthetic ! You nailed it better than 99,9 artists I've seen! Soooo chik !!!
Wow, thank you!
My eye does the same thing!!!❤

Wow, thank you!
Kiki please don't be insecure about your eyes. They are beautifully unique just like you. Wonderful video
You're so sweet, Diane. Thank you!
I also have hooded eyes, and so appreciate the advice on what to do.
Perfect eyeshadow! ❤
Thank you! It all comes together in the end!

That's very kind of you, but I really feel I need eye make up! I'd rather not, that's for sure, but it makes a big difference on me.
Beautiful!❤
Thank you, Marsha

My neighbors used to have chickens that I heard every day!
