Love watching you! We have similar neutral tones. I always get compliments when wearing a coral lipstick. You’re right about it being all in the mix. I think the reddish mascara would make me look sickly. ❤
That was brilliant. So useful! It’s a great idea for a series. I thought the WA colour looked wonderful on you and as you said, effortless. But for colour, the Haus Labs looked amazing as did both the Dries Van Notens. The DvNs were such strong colours and one was very cool and one very warm but the tones seemed to lift your whole look. My absolute fave though on you was the Cle de Peau red. That is *stunning* and now I’m off to try and find out if it’s available in the UK because even though I’m neutral with cool overtones and very pale, I think as you said, that’s a universal red. Thanks again for what’s basically a masterclass!
I’ve said this before…no one gets color the way you do! This helped me so much Kiki! I love all the colors on you and the little tweaks made so much sense! Great great video! 👏👏👏
Google kackie - she recently did a huge series on colors and undertones that you may find helpful if you found this stuff useful :) I really agree with you - I follow this channel and kackies for that
7:12 you can take a fluffy blending brush on the bottom lashes from the underside to take the lower lash build up down. (the handle not quite laying on your face). My lashes are my most complimented makeup area. Great summer series. Good tips.
Here in England, the weather is very cool and wet and will be like this until next Saturday. I can't wait for the heat. Red lipsticks are gorgeous on you, Kiki! I wish I had worn red years ago. I only took the plunge 3 years ago.
The Pac North is experiencing high nineties heat. Our friends from Huntington Beach are arriving on Tuesday and it’s supposed to be 104. They are shocked how hot it will be. So many great lip colors and suggestions! Lip color is a must whether I wear foundation or not. I don’t plan on wearing any foundation in this heat though, so perfect timing!
Flamingo Flower is YOUR red! Perfect! For me, I like the Mexican Rose (still a bit dark - I'm a cool, pale, blue-eyed white-gray/blonde). I love this vid - great tips for a hot summer's day 💟 Edit: The WA 'Minx" - omg, perfect 'nude' with a pop for us both WOW!
I LOVE Minx. Bought it during the Sephora sale and in try on haul it looked brighter because I paired it with a great blush. I didn't realize how versatile it was until I tried it this way, without blush!
Not to speak for Kiki, but part of the reason I’m responding is to test my memory from watching prior videos of hers. I think Kiki said that she finds lining her lips gives her an appearance of smaller lips, whereas letting the color naturally float, creating a more blurred lip line gives the illusion of a fuller lip. Kiki-Hopefully I didn’t do any disservice to what I recall.
Yes - lip lining doesn't do me any favors but a major factor is I have a prominent vermilion border - when I put liner on it or above (to make the lips look larger) the light reflects on the vermilion and the color is not visible. Not to say it's invisible, but the trick of the eye achieved with liner is canceled out by the prominent border

I’ve been looking forward to this one! And yes…east coast heat wave is brutal!
Yay for central A/C (for you - not I!)
She is always so pretty with bright colors!🤩

She wears color really, really well.
This is so informative. I do shy away from bright colors. But every one of these looked great. … 58 and still learning. Thank you so much!!! 💕
I never stop learning - most it of comes from problem solving or playing!
Aaaah you are the best! You really understand your own face and you understand color. I have similar coloring to you so I always learn from you. :)
Thank you! So glad you find my videos helpful!
I’m loving this series!
I'm so glad!
Love it. My two now are MAC ladybug and Westman Atelier je reve.

yes, absolutely, or even a cotton swab.
Love, love these lipstick shades on you. I’m going to check these out.
Thanks so much, Janice!
You look gorgeous in all of the colours 😍 so helpful, thankyou 😊
Thank you! Hope it inspires you to find your perfect summer "pow" color!

Better late than never (for the heat AND for the red lipstick!)

So glad!!!
Oh my goodness that Rose Mexico!!!!!!
I know! That color makes me so happy!
You look simply beautiful with all of those colours. ❤
You are too kind!
Wow so many new colors. Love them. Your coating. Me lot of money.
I feel same about orange 😉
Orange is tough! It's great on some people...on me, it's a "look"
Orange makes me look like Ronald McDonald - it ain't pretty, lol!🤡
This was so helpful. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Just ordered a Sisley lipstick and concealer and 2 eyeshadows from Nordstrom using your link.
Just wanted to let you know.
😊
Thank you SO much! I so appreciate your support!
Great video 👍. May I ask you why you don’t use lipliners?

Great video! No orange for me…looks awful on my skin…even a hint of orange in eyeshadow…just no! 😂
I hear you! It's tough for me, too!
please change that old rusty mirror 🙈
