Try spraying hairspray on the bobby pins before you stick them in. And make sure the ridgey side is facing downwards. I'm Asian with thick, waist-length hair - it stays put. When in doubt, just use more pins.

Oooh yeah !! THIS WORKS!!! I have sussed it in 2 tries. This look is much better than the classic French roll which I have worn for years but dropped because it looked so dated. Your look is more messy and sexy - I love it. Very good Alex. More modern messy looks from the old classics please.
