Can we just think about the massive amount of work MatPat did for this and the first episode of this video? He would have had to watch all the Pokemon episodes AND analyse them to find the little details that indicate towards what season it is and not to mention the additional research he did on the Japanese cities that the Pokemon regions are based on. I decided to watch the whole series in august and kept watching every single day since, some days even for hours. Yet, it is january now and i managed to reach sun and moon just a few days ago. It is pretty insane.

That would have worked waaayyy better. They could've made him also, a big brother who is about to graduate, type in his teeenage - young adulthood (15-19 years). To ease the transition. It would be like we are watching him grow up, and it is a bit of a present to all the viewers who watched pokemon, and played the games since they were little. I really like your idea, and it is better than having him restart to the age of 10 with 20 years of memories and experience.

the only explanation is that humans are also like Pokemons and they have 4 forms. toddler , 10 year old, adult, and grandpa/grandma. so ash will always stay a 10 year old until a certain condition is acquired.

I've seen this theory! I don't know how much evidence their is for it but I've seen people posit that the people in pokemon "evolve" from baby to young kid to older kid/middle schooler to high schooler to adult to elder. A lot more stages than pokemon but hey. Also kind of fits with the earlier video where humans shared ancestry with pokemon? I'd be interested to see if there was enough basis for them to do a video on it at some point.
I also thought that the Pokémon world is completely different from ours, time works differently, let's say a year is over 1,000 day while still keeping the same rate of aging, thus ash could be much younger then he is in this theroy

Note: While Ash was almost 17 when Dawn started her Pokemon journey at age 10, May met Ash when he was 14, and Misty met him close to the start of the series, meaning Dawn is less than 7 years younger than Ash, May is 4 years younger, and Misty is around the same age as him if not older considering she was already a gym leader when Ash first met her. I think the Sun and Moon Ash is actually a Ditto that has been creeping on them the entire time, and takes over Ash's life in a 10 year old form.
Wouldn't be too surprising, as there was a scenario that was played out that way in the Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon games. The police pretty much asks for your help to find them all, and catch them so they can stop taking over spots from other people they are impersonating.

Therein, Ash's wish to have an eternal adventure was granted by Ho-Oh (As, at the time, that's like the only thing that would've made him happy).
