At 1:30 u were able to get the interval starting from 1 sec but it was on standard but if u change the format to RAW then it begins from 5,so u use standard if u want to set the interval at 2 seconds? I have the GoPro Hero 8 and I'm very interested in photography but have never done much about it since I don't go anywhere, decided to learn how to make maximum use of the GoPro atleast when I do end up going somewhere photo worthy. 🤘🏼

I edit my audio with Audacity. I would do a tutorial, but I think the general interest in audio tutorials is very low. Perhaps some time in the future....
There’s TONS of videos on Audacity. I’ve used it a lot. Learning about “peaking” audio quality (over-“saturating”, or allowing too much sensitivity through), which will distort and sound very annoying. It’s easier to increase audio; and near impossible to recover from peaked audio. EQ is necessary to remove “muddy” sounds, to clean up to the natural sound, and remove high frequencies that are irritating to listen to: like an air nozzle with high compressed noise, creating hissing sounds. “Compression”, essentially equalizes all the decibels of volume, to a more stable amount: reducing “surprises” of audio level sound, or other sounds too low. There’s much more; but these general concepts will help immensely.

I have to shoot a 30 days timelaps for a customer in 2.7k, 5minutes intervall with 3600 photos for a 4 minutes video. The storage for that are only 20GB, so is it possible to run the camera for 30 days, when using a cable to power it? Or does it shut down for overheating? Thank you for yout time! Regards, Lukas

Thanks for your GoPro tutorials. I hope you can address some concerns I have. I have a client that wants to capture a time lapse of their 3-4 month ship building process. The location is interior, so light levels should be consistent. I want to mount 2-3 GoPro cameras to record the ship building process, and need to know what range of shot intervals are available (to calculate the final frame rate of the video) and how I can power the GoPro for extended periods of time. Regarding the shot interval, I would normally prefer photo time lapse mode for best image quality, but due to the long period of time the shooting will take, I'm OK if video time lapse is a better option regarding data storage or battery consumption. As I don't want to move the cameras during the process, is there a way to attach an external power supply to the GoPro to keep it running? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
The longest interval is 60 minutes. That could be enough for your purpose. You can attach a powerbank/external power supply while shooting. But I'm not sure if it will then last forever. I never tried it out. For data storage video time lapse is the better option but I think when using a bigger sd card this should not be your problem.
Connect to external power supply ( I use jackery bc of 2 power options) and connect that to a 110 outlet. Used with dslr time lapse which takes a lot more power..worked great

Another excellent video. Thanks! I downloaded the motion blur to try it out but when I drag the right corner of it to match the length of my time lapse clip ("trim" it), the clip appears to just repeat over and over as per the length of the original title when dragged onto the timeline (6 seconds repeated). In your video, when you add the blur, it appears to match the length of your clip automatically. I can't figure this out and any help appreciated. Thank you again!
MountMedia I did some investigation. I’m guessing you used Motion to create the blur and if so, I found this bit of information on why it repeats. “Finally (and this is very important), add a Loop End marker to the end of the project. Doing so will ensure that the motion blur sampling does not change when you trim the duration of the title in FCP X.” That information came from this article: www.provideocoalition.com/motion-blur-in-final-cut-pro-x-via-motion/ I hope this is the solution. I don’t (yet) have Motion or I would try to see if this is indeed the remedy. Again, thank you for your insightful videos.

What is the GoPro's battery life while on time lapse setting? I believe it runs 2 hours of video if filming constantly. What about in time lapse mode?

Yes, that should be right. GPR is an extension of Adobe's DNG format. But I do not own Capture One. And maybe they have added support in the meantime.

Normally I just leave it (as with all examples in this video) but yes, you could correct it with Lightroom

Hi, it's not possible with the normal firmware - I'm not sure but it might be possible using GoPro Labs....
