The Hornet Fairy - it's a BOY!!! My first fully male doll repaint - Monster High OOAK Doll Figurine

- Hi there!
The time has come for the fourth (and the last) member of my "black&yellow stripped" fairy family.
To make this group fifty-fifty cute and badass - I just HAD to choose a hornet for this one!
And to make it more interesting (for me at least) - he is my first ever fully male custom.
So, you can stop guessing - this family is finally finished :)
Hope that you will enjoy my Hornet Fairy and his video, just like you enjoyed the previous ones from this group!
Have fun and see you soon!

Catmeleon never dissapoints 👍
All hail the Hornet King!
:D
Don’t be scared to make your male dolls cute and beautiful. I love this doll btw
Cute and beautiful doesn't fit this particular character, that's all :D Glad that you like him ^_^
Amazing as always. Personal opinion, but I actually think you made him quite good-looking! Part of it, I think, is that he looks very self-assured and confident to me. Like, he *knows* he's a creepy bug dude and he's *owning* that lol. Attractiveness comes in many forms, not just for gals but for people of other genders, too, and I think you displayed that very well here even without meaning to!
I totally agree :) I really love the Bug King from the Strange Magic movie and he was far from being a Prince Charming :D
HES SO COOL OMG
Love the pfp
Ooo La La! Welcome to the family mr hornet! I’m really happy and glad you uploaded this video! This talent is something else thats really unique and a impossible skill on RUclips!
-from a big fan of yours
(I also feel like you should add a character from the sandman into you list and the show really matches your channel style too!)
Thank you so much! So happy that you like this guy ^_^
I LOOOVE Gaiman works and Sandman comics. And I am afraid that this is what ruined the show for me (only watched two episodes). I bet I would love it if I wouldn't read and cherished the novels, but I am just so bad with changes XD But at least they made the show a real eye-candy, that I must say :)
damn! as much i adore pretty boys, gotta love this kind of creepy vibe. you did very well, especially with face. facemold already was darn good and you did ir even better
Thank you :) Monster High boys have the weirdest faces :D But they can be great for some not-as-classically handsome characters :)
I love male custom dolls and this one is no exception! Wasp and Hornet definitely bully people together lol.
They will be inseparable from now on :D
Dragonfly? Spider? Daddy long leg? Scorpion? Ladybug?
As a male viewer, I am absolutely pumped!
I'm subscribed to so many arts and crafts channels, including doll repainting channels. Sadly most dolls are female by default anyway, because they still get treated as "girl toys" and so these channels will obviously keep the dolls gender as female.
I was a boy, that owned a lot of Barbie dolls and I loved them. However I was so tired of the fact that I only owned Barbies, so I started saving up my pocket money and bought a Ken doll one day. I protected that guy like a treasure. Everytime I see an art youtuber finally draw a male character or a doll channel finally repaint a male doll, I am absolutely thrilled. Thank you for doing this doll, I love him! It probably doesn't seem like much to represent male characters in art once in a while, but it means the world to me :D
This comment made me happy and I get what you mean.
Sadly, male dolls are VERY hard to find. I always get excited when I see artist using the male dolls to make stuff like this.
Yes, male dolls are harder to get. I have two big boxes of dolls and only few of them are boys :/ There’s also a thing that male customs are way less popular among viewers. The videos of female dolls just perform better and that is visible. Unfortunately the content creators need to think about views, especially if YT is their main source of income.
I personally prefer female figurines when it comes to both watching and creating. But I am also all about not making similar stuff over and over so I am sure that I will try to make a male custom from time to time :) For refreshing my imagination ^_^ and also for viewers like you ^_^
I love when during a face up she goes in with the big brush like “DUST DUST DUST DUST DUST DUST DUS- okay we’re done.”
Cause when I blow the dust away, sometimes I accidentally spit on the face XD No one wants to watch that! XD
hmmmmm perfect addition to the black and yellow family - and just what i needed with how ill i feel today - gorgeous work
Thank you :) I hope that your day will be only better from now on!
you say you weren't worried about making him handsome but he turned out perfectly spooky and handsome anyway! I'm excited to see a male doll in your style. Male dolls feel under appreciated, and we can always use more male fairies
I agree :) But I also get why they are less popular. The base dolls are harder to get and the videos are performing way worse than female customs. The same thing I saw in female and male photography. I guess we can say, that majority of people, no matter the gender and sexuality, definitely enjoy watching female body more than male :P
But I still think the boys needs some attention too and it was a nice change for me :)
My favorite parts are his super cool pokey mohawk and the larvae. But I'm slightly disappointed (j/k) that he didn't get a sexy "package" upgrade. Lol 😂. You give the females boob jobs and bigger booties, so I just assumed he would get an enlargement as well 😂
That hornet in your garden chewing on the bark is gathering materials to form the nest with. Bees make wax, wasps and hornets make paper. Except for the mud daubers, they make pottery, sort of.
Fun fact! Since stingers are modified ovipositors (aka egg laying doohickeys), male wasps and bees don’t actually have them. So in my head canon, this guy is a rocking trans baddie.
Awesome!
I feel about my fairies more like about animal creatures, not humans, so I don't think they can change their gender :D But sure, that is one way of thinking about it :P
@@CatmeleonStudio Clown fish who change genders depending on their environment: 🤡
@@CatmeleonStudio “changing gender” isn’t exactly the best wording, but there are plenty of trans animals
It fills me with the joy to know that some people still say doohickey.
Jak na pierwszą męską lalkę wyszło świetnie. Zdecydowanie pasuje do reszty rodziny
A dziękuję bardzo :) Fajnie było, ale cieszę się, że rodzinka już w komplecie :D
Oh my goooooshhhh I LOVE HIM!! He’s so sassy- if you swat him he slap you back 😂
Ok but what about a 16’ Queen bee doll-
I have already made a Bee Fairy, so enough with the bees XD
So happy that you like this dude! ^_^
omg we need more boys!! you could totally make a merman or a sweet fairy boy
Maybe in the future :)
despite your feelings on the faceup, he still is very handsome and the work you did complimented that just so!
maybe a Big future challenge would be a prettyboy faceup of some kind? still keeping those masculine features, but bringing in that need for perfection and beauty again sounds like a fun project
Please work on more male doll projects, he’s wonderful 🤩
Daddy Hornet is protective of his babies! Another fantastic custom!
Please make a orchid bee, dragonfly, firefly, fly, mosquito and several species of moth and butterflies next. Oh and mantis, especially the orchid mantis.
Maybe in the future :) Definitely not "next" though :P I have a schedule filled up until March XD But I hope that you will still enjoy what is coming ;)
I think the creepiest part is his nonchalant, almost pleasant, expression amid all the carnage 😆
Dragon fly...?🥺
But wow finally a boy! Small decisions like these show how much your channel is growing! I'm proud to be a somewhat OG fan of yours
You should do mosquito
I’d LOVE to see this
Thinking about it so maybe in the future :)
Maybe you should have kept the horn; that’s why he’s called a HORN-et 😊
how about a praying mantis doll? they have maaaany species, they can look like flowers, dead leaves, moss... in Poland we only have Mantis Religiosa though :^)
I've never seen a mantis in Poland... Maybe Silesia is not the best place for them :D
One da we might get a butterfly or praying mantis fairy series. Oh an orchid mantis fairy sounds fun
There's some really cool moths out there too. 🙂
Nothing wrong with making pretty, cute, or beautiful male dolls too! I hope you do in the future.
He looks like a proper asshole - just like all hornets! It's a compliment, not an insult, I think you did an excellent job as always, I just hate hornets! (They're destroying my weeping willows and are scary!!)
:D Thank you for that compliment :D That means that I did good XD
They are destroying my parents trees too. Once they made a nest under the roof in my family house, when I was still living with my parents. They were coming inside the house through the bathroom's vent. They were huge (like 2inches - 5cm). They were landing on the floor and you needed to be very careful not to step on one, barefoot in the morning. We needed to put a net in the vent so they won't come in (we were afraid about our cats catching those).
Not a big fan of a hornets since then :P
Awesome! final doll for the striped fairy group! Hornets weird me out more then bees and wasps and you translated the aggressive sharp look without taking it too a place that doesn't work in the group of fairies. Brilliant work as always! Look forward to future creations!
Edited for spelling
Thank you so much! ^_^ I will work hard so you don't have to wait for my next doll as long as for this one ^_^
Pleas make more dudes!! He lookes so cool an artsy and the angles of the face makes a welcome cgange to all the pretty ladies ❤
He is MAGNIFICENT! I loved the larvae - they were an inspired touch.
I would love to see you make a black widow doll with 2 sets of arms and 2 sets of legs which makes 8 limbos in total?🤗 i love to see your progress i have watched all your videos at least once but I did come to this channel only this year. But better late then never!😁❤️
Even my mom woke me up today with a phone call, to tell me that I should make a spider.... So I will probably... one day :P I am happy to have you here, no matter for how long ^_^
26:42 boy meets girl 😝 I’m in love with the Apoidea/Sphecoidea family concept!
He looks amazing! I love it! Everyone loves the ladies, of course, but I would really love to see more male doll works!
p.s. The hornet was gathering material for the nest, not eating. :) Just fyi, I watch a youtube channel called the Hornet King haha!
Thanks :) I have some in plans for the future :)
HEY! I'm in love with this boy. As a suggestion, u could add to your mermaid's collection a dude inspired on a male Betta Fish. That would be a mix with two themes lol
OMG I love the idea of a male beta merman.
That sounds so fierce! I love it!
Will there be all family portrait?
There is one at the end of the video :)
Im not to sure if you remember me or not, but I mentioned how hornets, bees, wasps, etc. have 5 eyes in the past because I was curious about it after watching one of your videos. That little micky mouse pattern on the hornets head you mimiced is actually the 3 extra eyes a hornet has!
He's very cool! And I'd be really interested on what your take would be for a more handsome/pretty guy sometime. Also unrelated, but I adore Neighthan Rot and wish I could get him sometime. Also I love that this is one of the few dolls that had the hole you needed for the stinger already, but you covered it then redrilled it. It's a very funny thing xD
Oooo a male doll outside of pride month
It seems like the only time male dolls are decorated are males on the different places on the lgbtq community or drag
Rare! :O
I am pretty sure that there will be more male dolls here in the future :)
I love hiiiiim. (Though I can't unsee the 2000s styles... lol) When I saw hornet! AND male, I was super stoked. He turned out amazing. I love his entire back, it's all super cool. Funny that his proportions are somehow even weirder than the female dolls, but perfect for this! I also loved your moist grubs.
I also encourage you to make weird and creepy female dolls, and pretty boys, if you're ever feeling it. :D
Thank you! ^_^ And yeah, what has been seen, cannot be unseen - sorry for that XD
I do enjoy making pretty girls and tough-looking boys... but maybe in the future I will challenge myself with some changes :)
he looks like he would sound like the vilian from fern gully
fresh sunflowers are great also i dont get why people get disgusted by normal fricking nails we cant wear nail polish all the time
I very rarely wear any nail polish. With eating fresh sunflower’s seeds the problem is not a normal/natural nails, but dirty ones :P and those does disgust me in fact :P But fresh seeds are the greater good! :D
@@CatmeleonStudio i get sticky black stains on my fingers when i peel fresh walnuts and its worth the mess too 😁
@@kardelenkoc9746 Fresh walnuts are my second favorite thing :D Those nasty fingers are waaaay worth it :D
Also, if you have an adolescent foll you can make a yellow jacket
My wasp was inspired by paper wasps AND yellow jackets, so I don't feel the need to make another yj for the group :P
Every time you do one of the bug fairies, you surprise me. I really hope you never run out of insects to turn into fairy doll sculptures.
over 12,000 known species of ants to choose from... and that's just ants!
@@Sarappreciates Too true! The possibilities are endless!
Doll makers:yea he's got a really cool sculpt you see its-
Doll creators:yea no get rid of it.
XD what can I say... :D
@@CatmeleonStudio °-° hello there didn't expect you to say anything lol
I love the final shot of allnof them together ❤️ 😍 💓
do more male doll repaints. I think it would be mega cool if you did at least one male version for every theme you've done to date. It would be so awesome seeing them side by side
This is awesome! So glad to see a male doll. Again you amaze me😁 plus you freaking crack me up!
The guy has a KILLER jawline...he is already halfway to becoming a hornet. Perfect.
he reminds me of a yellow jacket. they've invaded my backyard this year, and my dog is trying to wage war against them.
I LOVE HIS LOOK!!!!
Also, if you see this, would it be okay to draw your creations as long as credit is given?? I would love to draw your bee and wasp fairy too!
Just credit me and I would love to see your fanarts of my works! ^_^
I doubt it was intentonal but his hair reminds me a lot of celosia flowers, wich are used to attract bees and other pollinating insects to vegetable gardens. Great camofoge considering his favored prey.
That is a pretty great coincidence :)
I always enjoy your fairies/insectoid dolls!!!! They are so freaking COOL!!!
Seeing this incredible work of art, the only thing I can think is: "Is there something that this young man does not do well?"
I really love all the designs you make, the effort you put into each one of your works and without a doubt, I would love to be able to give you ideas so that you continue creating this type of art.
Hmmmmm..... peeing while standing!
:D
Kidding :P There all all sorts of things in witch I suck ^_^ But, luckily, learning is fun :D
Thank you and I am so happy you like my creations :) My imagination is still full of characters that I want to show you, so no worries - there's more where it came from :D
Now you need a yellow jacket, killer bee, honey bee, carpenter bee and a dauber
Mud dauber would be horrifying and awesome to see!
I always save the yarn brushings and use them to stuff the upholstery when I make cushions for doll furniture. It makes good stuffing for Fancy pillows.
16:53 ew hornets have this on them?! now i hate them more 😂
Here me out, a moth series… 🙂like the big fuzzy ones, coo, right!
This guy is scary yet darkly compelling in that Tim-Curry's-character-"Darkness"-in- "Legend" way.
Or is that just me?
Anyway, four thumbs up! 👍👍👍👍
The hornet at the end is eating bark to use in making a nest.
I'm in love with this video, but... I'm more than in love with "I Hope that you don't have to wait much for a next video" ahah , any way I sit right here and wait for you, because you have the power to make happy and feeling good a person with your art
(Sorry for my english but I'm not mother tongue kek) 💕
I do finally have some more time for my crafting, so I really hope that long-waiting days are over :D
I'm someone who customizes dolls and my jaw dropped seeing you use a phone to get yarn the same length. I've spent so much time measuring the yarn and now I can start doing this! love the doll as well, he's so cool!
That's definitely a very handy thing :) Very quick way to get many, many yarn strands of the same length ^_^
@@CatmeleonStudio I'm definitely using this with my next custom!
Still watching the video (will either make an added comment at the end or edit this one for more/proper feedback once I see the final result), but very excited by your spin on a male remodel! One thing that really grabbed me as you were chatting about the difference working on male versus female doll models was the pressure you put on yourself with female dolls to go pretty, that you tend not to do for male dolls. I don't know if you'd be interested or not but you might have fun with something in the vein of Yoshitaka Amano's approach to drawing men, or how guys are shown in the Final Fantasy series generally? There's room for very dramatic male beauty there. Sometimes slim male models in avant garde fashion do similar looks, or characters in certain science fiction (Dune, Jupiter Ascending, and The Hunger Games films came to mind). No pressure or obligation of course, and not all characters need to be pretty/cute--but it struck me as something you might find neat artistically so thought I'd share! :D
At the end, think you did an awesome job with this! Really loved the shading/gradient effect you did, and facial structure was awesome. Stand was killer, and it was also really cool at the end seeing visual similarities and differences within your yellow-and-black lineup. Feels like bee and wasp are linked because of both being a cooler/more greenish yellow while bumble bee and hornet are warmer/more orange-y yellow, but the silhouettes and use of anatomy are closer between hornet and wasp. Plus bee/bumble bee as the two cuter dolls being linked in body types, textures, and facial features and all. I think this really showcased your abilities as a designer not only for individual dolls, but to be able to create a lineup that would feel cohesive while making sure every figure still stands out. Awesome job! Thank you so much for sharing and wishing you tons of inspiration! ^^
Thank you so much! I spend a lot of time brainstorming a design, to be sure that it will be cohesive with the group, but still different than previous members of it. So I am happy that it is appreciated ^_^
For the male dolls. I didn't mean in the video that with a male doll there's no pressure to make a doll to be beautiful. I mean that about this specific doll. The Hornet Fairy doesn't need to be pretty, so I didn't make such a design for him :) I am perfectly aware that I could make a design of a handsome man and the pressure will be there, despite gender (I will make that kind of design in the future, I am sure). Or that I could make a female doll looking creepy and hideous. This I don't think I would do... it is just a part of my style, to at least try to make my girls pretty :P). The creepiness in the contrast not in the face :)
People are still saying that this dude turned out handsome, so I guess it is stronger than me though XD
@@CatmeleonStudio No problem! It’s always exciting seeing the level of thought and technique you put into your dolls! :D Spotting how you did the group designs was really cool, and you deserve major kudos for it I think. Not everyone knows how to do that!
Also fair fair on male dolls and beauty. Sometimes it’s fun to just go creepy, grotesque, or gross in art. Like 'THIS TERRIFIES AND UPSETS ME I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND AND FEEL TERRIFIED/UPSET BY IT TOO' lol. I know the hairs on hornet fairy’s hump definitely captured that D8 feeling I get from bugs! So while he was still handsome (I think) he was definitely more creepy-handsome. Wasn’t sure in the moment whether your beauty comments were a general approach to male designs or just this doll specifically, so appreciate the clarification! I’ve learned not to assume people share my frame of reference (ex. friends offline have been confused by male models) so what I mentioned was in that spirit. Basically whatever you choose to do I hope you have a lot of fun and feel excited for the possibilities. ^^
On the hornet fairy still being called handsome even though you weren’t trying, for what it’s worth I don’t think that’s a bad thing. It seems like you have an innate sense of aesthetics and are great at exploring it whether in creepy/scary art or something more traditionally beautiful. So while it might be a funny challenge to see how far you can push a design before people get pure-horror reactions, there’s no need to pressure yourself that way either. Whatever makes you feel happy and fulfilled as an artist!
He looks so supremely amazing, and dare i say - attractive? Man you make some of the best doll sculptures I've ever seen!! they are honestly so cool
You should do a yellow jacket 😊❤
The hair at first reminded me of a male Mandarin duck , I wonder if you could ever make a doll inspired by the Mandarin ducks .
As usual your designs blow me away, you are definitely NOT a newbe, you are one of, if not the best doll modeler on you tube.
Oh wow, thank you so much! ^_^
how about some feline dolls next
I'm curious how you would handle insect fairies with larger wings like butterflies and moths.
No idea XD
Girl he is handsome i love that saucy look
I love the bee series. Maybe you could stay with the critters. I'd love to see a spider doll, mantis doll or bug doll.... there are so many amazing animals out there. I could also imagine like a big rhino beatle as inspiration with giant horns... so cool!!!
Even those this group is done on my channel, I am still exploring the insects kingdom for more fairy-inspirations ^_^ So there’s a big chance that you will see some of those in the future :) My Fairies series is far from ofer ^_^
I can’t stop rewatching all your old videos😭 Please make more male dolls! your women are fantastic but I barely ever see people make male dolls sadly
Because most dolls are girls sadly 😭 I wish we had just a whole line of good man dolls for once. Like I love girl dolls but man dolls barely get anything good, they’re usually just treated as accessories to girl dolls 😭 And they’re barely articulated (Ken dolls)
I want a line of guy dolls that’s varied in body types and sizes and skin tones with articulation and such 🥺
@@KingOfGaymes that idea wluld be so cool! Or a MH linr of male doll characters 😆
Dang, he's sexy, and this is coming from someone who usually hates bugs! xD
This fairy is a glorious finale for this fairy familiy. I am so smitten with all of therm. All dolls have a unique look, but still they belong together. Again, amazing work.
So happy that you like them all! :) Thank you!
Question! Have you ever considered working with a Spectra Vondergeist and maintain her transparent features? You could use clear resin to set and smooth the clear joints instead of apoxiesculpt. Now for a theme! Hm, perhaps something like Northern Wind Fairy? A cold and icy gust of transparent wind!
I am in fact using the resin on joints right now on my current project XD but not with spectra :)
@@CatmeleonStudio noice! Can't wait to see the end result!
I LOVE the stand so much! I feel like it adds so much atmosphere and inferred lore to the character. The resin honey / goo in particular is absolutely fantastic. I have a pretty intense phobia for wasps, so I can assure you, this project is beautifully terrifying! 😍
Happy to hear that :D Glad you like it despite the phobia! I have shivers when I see those big mosquito-like insects with dangling looooooooong legs :O Brrrrr
love to see more male dolls from you!
"Cieknie mu z dupki", o matko, flashbacki do czasów, kiedy czytałam fanfiki z omegaverse XD Ślicznie wyszedł
XD Dzięki XD
Kind of sad I won't get to see your interpretation of the Australian blue bees, but it is what it is like
Have a good day
I love your art so much, and I love your narration so much, that I must offer some friendly advice, which you may feel free to dismiss with no hard feelings from me, I'm just trying to help: your UV light to cure your dolls is linked to causing skin cancer, which can be avoided by simply wearing a glove on the hand you expose to the light. I say this because the world needs this kind of beauty for as long as possible, and chemotherapy is no fun at all, so I want you to live a long happy life!
Thank you. I really don’t think that I expose myself to the uv light more than people who are making their hybrid nails… and this is what this lamp is for :D So I don’t think I am risking so much as you are saying :)
@@CatmeleonStudio Yes, I know it's the same kind of light used to cure gel nails. This is a well-studied subject, but not everyone likes the information, so I don't want to push this on anyone. I have stage 4 breast cancer, so it's a little like seeing someone light a cigarette. One cigarette won't do any harm. It's the effect over a long time that does the damage. Even though I quit smoking, I can't tell anyone to stop without being a hypocrite since I smoked too. I can only give a friendly warning like I did here. Though I'm sad you won't hear it, I still love your art!!!
@@Sarappreciates I am sorry to hear about your illness and I really appreciate your concerns about my well being. As you can see with my pale hands, I am not exposing myself to sunlight very often ;) Lets also remember that this lamp is labeled as a low risk - cigarettes are definitely not :) Working in gloves is really frustrating for me and I do have allergies for most gloves materials and components, but I will be careful with my uv light and I will be sure to use hand cream with high spf :) Have a lovely day, be strong and get well!
@@CatmeleonStudio Oh! I can imagine gloves could slow things down a little. SPF creams may not filter all UV light, which was why I recommended gloves. I know they sell cloth gloves for it, but again, I don't wanna be pushy. I genuinely enjoy this channel, and I don't mean to suggest any changes to the art itself. Your creativity is a lovely thing to see. Watching you work, I'm reminded somewhat of a few Wendy Froud Dark Crystal dolls I've got in my own collection. I absolutely mean no disrespect! Thank you for your kind words! I wish you a long lifetime of inspiration!
@@CatmeleonStudio hi sorry I had to find one of your comments. I saw in one of your videos you were disappointed with the new monster high dolls (me too by the way). I found that there is a TV show called Ladybug and Cat Noir (a french show I understand) and the dolls of the characters are great for customisers. fully jointed and I actually like them a lot better because they feel more natural. you should check them out because they are a current line with lots of different characters and sculpts. Only doll line I have found that is similar. hope this helps
Why did I read it as the horney fairy 💀
He looks great !
As a helpful tip if you can use it cool water will make hot glued instantly set 😊 obviously it can't be used in every situation but it comes in handy sometimes 😉

he clearly didn't get the dress code for the family gathering.
"Hey guys, how do I wear this?"
"...You know what, you can wear whatever."

Yea he looks like someone I'd try to yeet from a distance, probably screaming at him…
No I dont like hornets. I dont like wasps.
Theyre the devil
Hi Marzena! I was hoping to see you do a dude (😳) and as usual, wasn’t the least bit disappointed 👍👍 also, thought that next time you run out of counting Mississippis waiting for glue to cool down, it might be worth while having a freeze spray on hand? Totally ready for next doll (or 100) already.. a half an hour is never enough! 😂 💚
Hmmm.... I will think about it, thank you :D
You should make Male dolls more often! He looks great!
Must I admit, I first saw the title as “first fruity male doll” at first😭
He's very cool looking, the colors you used make him pop! I'd love to see your creative talents to make a praying mantis fairy!!! Maybe an insect fairy series!?!?
This series is on :D I have a few designs ready, just waiting for their turn in my busy schedule :) So be patient :)
More male project! Please :D
I think 1:19 is a little too fresh for You Tube
I see where your attention's at 😂
To be crystal clear: the gender of the dolls have nothing to do with the "yeesh" XD But I heard that every platform want to become OnlyFans in the future.... sooooo.... :D
Am I the only one who at fort glace red "the horny fairy" and was absolutely confused? Anyway, good job!
Lol I didn’t read it like that but that’s super funny!🤣
Just gorgeous! Love the bug elements, the mandibles on the chin are perfect, elongating the face even more just works. OMG you make wing making look so easy!
Thank you :) This technique for making the wings is quite easy :) I wonder why I am the only one who is using it :D
@@CatmeleonStudio I haven't made any wings based on real examples yet, so instead of drawing/painting on the veins, I just use the crinkling of the plastic sheet under the curing the resin to create the designs. I'm just in love with your technique. ❤️❤️
I really love your designs, I'm sad the stripes family is over, but can't wait for new projects :)
So I really loved all these and honestly im so impressed and with your stills I kind of think a Praying-mantis would be cool, anyway lovely work.
How come you don't cut the ears off before the shrinking stage?
Every cut in the vinyl can cause a tearing during the shrinking. The more intact head - the bigger chances of success. Even with the slow shrinking, I am choosing to better be safe than sorry.
@@CatmeleonStudio oh that makes sense. I was just curious, I figured there had to be a logical explanation 😅.
He looks so cool and creepy! I really like the stand that you made for him really bringing more of the creepy theme. Great addition to the family :D
He looks so cool!!! Im so happy you designed him as a guy, really original design!!
The two girls remind me of yellow jacket wasps. Yellowjackets are monsters.
