There must be customers from other phone carriers doing something or telling AT&T customer service something for this to come out. AT&T wouldn't be doing this just to do this. They testing to see if it works which will probably go nationwide soon.
It doesn’t make much financial sense or benefits for the consumer because, by natural attrition, 33% of a 36-month financial agreement is 13 months in, so if you can do it up to three times a year, AT&T getting almost a year worth of device payments in addition to the $10 add-on
How is this even going to be possible? You are currently locked into the set payment for 3 years. They don't allow you to pay more than the set payment per month. And the other other option is for you to pay the remaining balance if you don't want to stick to the monthly payment. So does this mean they will allow you to make more than just the monthly payment per month (like a credit card)? Phone technology isn't even that advanced phone to phone to warrant someone upgrading 3 times a year. I don't see the point.
Verizon & AT&T just need to go back to 24 month EiP financing. 36 months is just too long.
Why the hell would anyone want to switch phones multiple times a year? Keep the phone for at least 2 years. This is getting silly

Alright AT&T I see you
Example of why I love the competition
no phone company releases new 3 phones every year.
We have a google, Apple, Samsung
@@Techlifechannelwelcomenone of them are worth changing multiple times a year for lol

Many are not smart enough to do the math and realize they are getting taken advantage of.
Is at&t going to sell the trade in phones at a discount? This seems like a waste.
If t mobile was doing this u wouldn’t say nothing
@@antoinegeorge4287 you'll be bitching t mobile is giving things away if t mobile was doing this

Wow a very very awesome and amazing deal from AT&T! I love AT&T! Memphis needs this!!!
I like to keep my phones, so I just pay them off by the two years and upgrade again. Because at that point I’ll feel like I’m renting my phone.

You can currently pay more if you go into the app or myAT&T
@@kenneththomasjrTV That must’ve been implemented recently, as I was never told that was an option, and I was paying extra for Up Next.
This is a brand new option only in select markets that’s why . It’s basically in beta
@@NemesisFighterXi just found out i’m paying for it too.
soon FCC is going to make all cell phones to be unlocked after 60 days from when activated.
SIM locked phones ….. 😂
Exactly. I’ll never finance through AT&T again 😩

Hey Tyrone, do you know if Miami will be part of the markets selected for this feature?
I’m m trying to tack down the list
