Verizon use to be awesome in my neighborhood. But now they're flat booty and Tmobile has really stepped up 5G in my area(charlotte NC). I noticed on cross country road trips only %10 of the time did my Tmobile buddy have service when I didn't. It was either we both had it, or Verizon(I) had like the smallest smidgen of connection that could be called "service". But when you driving in the Mojave you feel like you need a lifeline. Even a smidgen of one better than none.
If you qualify for ACP the $65 premium plan looks like the best option especially since it should cost as little $35 after $30 discount and if they stack the $20 Verizon Forward discount apply to their fwd commonly you would end up paying as little as $15 and that is for a single line. Such a low rate would make it more affordable to finance various accessories as you need them such ass AirPods and then after paying the last payment grading a wireless charger and/or a battery bank.
She’s implying that they have cheaper plans and more options at different price points. But I agree with you. Verizon is still generally more expensive in most cases.

Surchages and fees alone bump it way up and once taxes hit as well they are more expensive. I just ordered and went online to double if it matched what they say when you order and Verizon is a bunch of horshit for their prices and nonsense charges. They ARE NOT CHEAPER. Get More Plan? I have that. Never use Disney Plus, Hulu, and never have used ESPN+. I am not happy with their price increases. I'm looking at $116 for one phone and a watch. Looking at dumping them for T-Mobile.
I’ve been looking at Verizon because I have T-Mobile now and my service here in Orlando Florida is horrible. I used to be with Sprint until they merged and Sprint used to be the best, they merged, and now I’m on the T-Mobile side and it’s horrible. I’m actually thinking about going with Verizon.

Personally hate Verizon as their customer service sucks and they screwed me over and sent my bill to collections while my account was supposed to be frozen and they were in the middle of "fixing it". I will forever hold a grudge lmao.
While I have Visible prepaid for service, I will never get Verizon wireless for they blacklisted my iPhone 13 Pro Max for one of their delinquent customers when I never was and never been a Verizon customer and I had bought the phone directly from Apple as an upgrade on T-Mobile. I had to get the FCC involved to have them take my phone off the blacklist.
I have a T Mobile account. Cost me $50 per month BUT, I get charged $5 for paying my bill in cash and another $5 for paying my bill in store. so total monthly cost is $60. They just started the extra charges recently ... like in the past 3 months. These companies are really looking for any reason to bump the cost of plans.
Just pay with a card like the rest of society my guy. Unless you're an illegal immigrant or getting paid under the table no reason to not just have a card and use it. It's safer, easier, and more practical. In the Kansas City area, T-Mobile has better coverage, at least what I would call quality coverage. 4g with one bar standing outside for Verizon vs 5g all bars for T-mobile for a 5 square mile area. Does Verizion cover that area? Yes, but not well.

I been having Verizon for 6 years and rn now my plans include free Disney bundle free Apple Music and free 600gb of iCloud storage and 1 travel pass a month for $50 an month the new plans are more expensive and have no perks so I’m going to stay with all the free perks I have rn and I have 6 phone lines 2 Apple Watch lines and a hotspot line on my account and I pay 304 in total of course my family pays there own bill because it’s cheaper to have 4 or more lines on the account lol

You left out the critical part. Verizon has no viable customer service or support, while T-Mobile has stellar customer service and support. I live in a rural area where Verizon coverage is a little better but I use T-Mobile.
I laugh at this comment because the same people who do T-Mobile's customer service, are the same ones who do Verizon. Where I am from, the T-Mobile call center is right across from the Verizon one and people switch teams constantly. The issue is t customer service, Verizon does not give their customer service a lot of power to change things on their systems. Most things on Verizon are done on the backend and the teams who do that work do not have direct lines. Verizon's support software is a nightmare... you need a degree in several disciplines to understand it.

Ive had Verizon for about a decade and have huge discounts as a loyal customer, I think about $45 off of my total bill at this point with grandfathered plans, phones paid off I pay about $155 a month for two lines on the top plan and 3rd from the top. Still pretty pricey which is why I am considering changing but just can't pull the trigger yet. ATT doesn't seem to be better in anything, and T mobile seems to have better Data coverage in the US so I am leaning a little more towards T mobile. If anyone has any experience with T mobile's top plans let me know.

Neither plan is unlimited. Hotspot is limited. I have an old plan from Verizon that is limited in text which I do not use, but is unlimited in hotspot. My only connection as I travel full time. Phone is only for talking to people. Mobile connectivity to the web is crippled severely. Only a full web connection on a computer offers all the usefulness. So hotspot is essential.

I used to work back in the day with wireless and in 2023 I travel by truck on business every single day. I cover in an entire state of Virginia and T-Mobile works in rural areas in the mountains. In some cases, better than Verizon. I'm a trucker so I know. I also currently have Verizon and Verizon is way more expensive than T-Mobile. I don't know what this lady is talking about. I had a plan with T-Mobile for 2 phones. For a 100 bucks unlimited everything and I worked in wireless and I'm a engineer by trade almost 25 years ago. Don't tell me that T-Mobile is th Throttling their customers because that's not true. It's almost like TV's unless younless you are like. I mean, a super super super nousable person about pixels and contrast and resolutions, and all that stuff with TV's. You can't really tell the difference and most television sets. Prices listed are not accurate. I am a Verizon user just so you know. However, T-mobile includes taxes and fees, but Verizon does not. So add about 20% to the Verizon prices.
Verizon is the only carrier that works in my rural area. T-Mobile has no service here.

I have looked at both and qualify for the Go5G 55 plan with T-Mobile. It represents a lower price than my current Verizon plan.

Tmobile includes taxes and fees to all of their plans so what you see is what you pay.
There is no tie when it comes to coverage. Verizon has 100's of thousands of square miles more coverage than T-Mobile as does AT&T.
