Elizabeth showcases the transformative power of dance as a metaphor for life; demonstrating how facing resistance head-on, whether on the dance floor or in our everyday lives, can be the catalyst for personal growth and empowerment. Through her story she shares how she decided to harness the energy of self-sabotage and channel it into a positive force that propels you towards your goals. Elizabeth shares valuable insights on building resilience, cultivating self-compassion, and embracing vulnerability as a means of overcoming self-imposed limitations. You will be inspired and empowered as you realize the incredible potential that lies within you. By turning self-sabotage into a superpower, Elizabeth gained the ability to overcome obstacles. Listen as she illuminates the hidden opportunities that lie within our self-sabotaging tendencies. Rather than succumbing to the negative impact of self-doubt, they will reveal how embracing resistance can unlock dormant strengths and unleash untapped potential. Dear Eli, I've been traveling, and it's now that I'm back in NYC and settling that I can sit and appreciate this accomplishment. Kudos for a brilliant, honest, authentic, and powerful talk. I've been part of your voyage, and am so proud of the genuine, powerful person you are continually evolving into...as you did in dance. The most precious element of it all is the drive to share and inspire others through your story. I'm smiling big-time. Thank you for the flash of your dancing including the great times with Contemporary Motions. I love you tons. Julio ❤❤❤

I resonate with all of this!!! We all have some version of self-sabotage that kills and steals our dreams and potential. When I hear stories like this it reminds me I am not alone, that I am not unique in my own challenge with self-sabotage. What courage to share this from the stage Elizabeth. Your obedience to God’s calling on your life will set many many people free from self bandage.

As a life-long self-saboteur, I know that such reasoning createss a negative, self-fullfilling prophecy. Thanks for providing clues on how to overcome, what for me, is a bad habit.

Great topic and presentation. I think self-sabotage is an issue for many people that prevents them from reaching their potential and having the life they want. The presenter was articulate, open and gave a powerful presentation. Great job and good topic.

Thank you Eliza, you did great, you are brave and beautiful. Your experience and personal story really resonated strongly. Simple trick to pause and re-think before going into whirlwind and letting Automatic behaviour dictate, instead in that very moment we can close our eyes and take deep breath or two before making a choice that will be true to our soul and growth.
