I honestly wish videos like this existed when I first started taking theory more seriously. You’re really concise and easy to understand most RUclips content talks about the basics too quick as if the person trying to learn already understands.
Really appreciate that 🙏 that was always frustrating to me too early on. I needed to understand things on a simpler level and not everything was always obvious, even the basics. Thanks for the comment!
Brother, I've been self-taught, playing for fun since 03, and this video has me looking and sounding much better(well, to myself standing in the mirror lol) . Great job ! Goes to show the fundamentals are so important!
Loving these tutorials man. As a self taught guitar player who is finally wanting to understand the why. These last 3 videos you’ve made have been huge. Please keep them coming.
Thanks so much! Really appreciate that. That's where I came from and always wanted to understand the "why" and have it all make sense. More coming for sure!
This is what I want from a long time. Theory applied to real songs scenario. Instant subscriber. I'd love to see to songs analysis from Metallica, Lamb of God, Trivium, Avenged Sevenfold, BFMV or KSE
Awesome man I’ve been playing for 20 years but these are greatly explained and to the point. Please continue with an entire series. This is very unique compared to what’s out there.
This helped. I never really paid attention to theory. I now hear many songs from the band i played for in a sense of the minor scale and how eclectic it really can be.
I'm 2 years into guitar and this video helps to understand just a little bit more about the composing relationship with scales and keys....I have the same guitar and that thing RIPS...love the reaper 6 fr.
Outstanding video. Provided a ton of value with great explanations, and kept the video concise when moving from point to point-especially love the scale over the song/backing track tip! Now, if I had to provide feedback, I feel like the bg music could be lowered a few db’s during the talking head sections. Apart from that, amazing! I see that this was the first video uploaded in quite some time. Keep up with this format in terms of video length and script, and your channel is bound to blow up. Hope to see more content similar to this one, subbed!
Thank you! Glad it helped! I’ll be putting out a lot more videos here on YT! I do offer one on one lessons online and I’ll be putting out a course soon!
Finally metal theory If only they included metal in the music gcse curriculum 💀💀 The closest I have is Queen (specifically the song “killer queen”) I mean theory is theory, the basics are the same always

Finally metal theory
If only they included metal in the music gcse curriculum 💀💀
The closest I have is Queen (specifically the song “killer queen”)
I mean theory is theory, the basics are the same always
Definitely! Would love to see more metal in curriculum. I agree, same theory basics but applied a little differently.
what pickups are those?
They're just the stock pickups - the Diamond Decimators
Why is my guy looks like justin baldoni 😂😂😂😂
Wrong. Justin Baldoni looks like me 🤘
