- Tucked away at the end of a pasture on Liz Zorab's Byther Farm is a magical place one reads about in books, but rarely has the opportunity to visit in real life. It's beautiful, peaceful, refreshing, and surprising... and Liz has allowed me to be the first one to share this unexpected magical area with you.
Welcome to our Plan Bee! After 20 years of successful careers in the Los Angeles area we moved to rural Missouri and are taking steps to become more self-sustaining on our homestead. I break down all the farmy things into small manageable steps so you can start homesteading wherever you are.
We homestead on 2.5 acres in the Missouri Ozarks, and our garden hardiness zone is 6B.

What a lovely place.......and a fine video of it. I hope Liz will video it through the seasons. I think it would offer some tranquility to those of us who are trying to learn everything before the new season starts, whilst running round trying to make compost, build raised beds, trying to find worms and tripping over the cat!!!
