This is a story about our journey to Tshikapa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Stéphane's family lived in Belgian Congo in 1950ties. His younger brother died in Tshikapa from malaria when he was only 5 months old. As the family wanted a boy, few years later Stéphane was born. Stéphane's long time ambition was to go to Tshikapa, DRC and to try and find the place where Gaëtan was buried and to pay his respects. This trip is about us trying to find Gaëtan's burial site.

❤
The police are corrupt but the peoples are very very kind and welcoming
Was it mundele which means white man in Congolese and you pronounced it mulele?
Yes we know and we have changed from now on! 👍
Actually the guy wanted a bribe at the road block
