A useful one that I've noticed people miss is when a enemy is low enough to drink you can activate it and then left click to cancel the drain and it will execute them instantly, but not change your blood type. It only puts it on a short 4-6s cool down too. Very useful for thinning out a pack.
Yeah that one was cool to figure out. You also have a very short period where certain attacks won't hit you while you transition into drinking too. So as long as you execute the enemy quick enough you should be able to do it without getting hit.
Bear shape works well for transporting silver. it has a way bigger regen rate than the normal vampire shape so you will be able to carry more silver coins or ore before you actually start to take damage from the debuff. Also is faster than walking and tanky-er
Hey quick thing. You can also use the OUTPUT as temp storage, so if you have a ton of copper bars but no chest, pop them back into the output of the smithy.
I like farming the bandit camps for unsullied hearts and making sure to break boxes and stuff for chance at the loot that drops there, some have Whetstone.
Use tents in camps to wait for night time, no need to run back to base every time. Once you clear an area a tent will keep you protected for the day time.
Fun fact about Compulsively Count: It references a pretty obscure bit of vampire lore, in which they have arithmomania. A.k.a, vampires having the obsessive compulsion to count things, like grains of rice or wheat, coins, pebbles, etc. if you scatter them around their coffin. It was a supposed way for people to buy themselves enough time to get away from a vampire, or distract them long enough until the sun comes up.
One thing that took me way too long to notice was that your softcap HP (the fully black portion that your normal HP can regen to) _does_ actually regen slowly out of combat. I kept using blood mend as soon as I got out of combat to get back up to max HP, but this was never actually necessary. (Bear increases softcap regen too.)
For merciless gear I just farmed enemies and focused on picking up paper above anything else then using all that paper to unlock recipes at the study table. While farming paper I got plenty of books, merciless gear books and stuff I already had and could scrap the book for 10 pieces of paper. Unlocked all the recipes super fast.
Thanks for the tip on gear progression. I hadn't seen any patterns drop and didn't know where to hit up. Saved me some trouble. Good video overall, helpful tips that don't feel like a cookie cutter guide.
Something I learned disassemble my 1st Castle moving everything to my newer location 2nd Castle is that when you completely remove everything and the Hearth, the entire area previously occupied revert to exactly as it was originally. And almost immediately or not long after.
Good castle location is also key. I'm going to restart because I chose a terrible spot for mine not realizing how much of a pain it was going to be to move after building a few stations. Having a lot of fun with the game though and things should go a lot faster now that I understand the basics of the game so I don't mind.
a late game tip, make big rooms specific for things. like prisoners, servants, grinders etc. also make not 1 grinder but like 6 or more for more effective progress. same thing with the other things you use materials to turn them into things you need.
You still get the same amount of resources from any node, no matter what tool u use. Some just harvest them quicker by doing 25% more dmg to them. So higher damage weapons are better, so if u have an iron sword please dont use bronze axes to mine trees or stone
I hate to say it but 99% of this video is literally explained in the game.. like this game kinda spells it out for people I feel if anyone actually missed a lot of this then they’re just awful at games because this game has actually done a very good job explaining all of this “except most brazier I can see how some might miss this” but as someone else stated yes the feed/kill is a big upper hand thing that should basically had been main concern since some mobs in this game specially end tier it’s way easier to just kill with that. But otherwise I gotta be real, this game did a great job explaining all of this simply, as for the putting items in things… just make more chests?. I won’t lie I understand where you came from but is it actually hard to make chests?. Let alone more?. No so.. why clutter stuff with stuff that doesn’t belong?. Yes end game I stored mats in there ONLY because I would sort into them and instantly have the mats I need being built, was simply more efficient endgame when crafting the bloodmoon etc since they require so much diff crafted mats.
Top thing I wish I knew before playing was that getting siege golems are easy. Don't play on PvP Servers if you can't be online on whole 6 hours siege period everyday.
Watching you fill refineries by hand, hurts my soul. Just click Compulsively Count, it'll auto move your items from the inventory to whatever you're interacting with. The only hitch is that you need to have 1 of the item in the box you're moving things to. So if I go up to my Sawmill that has 3 logs left over sitting in it, I click one button and it moves all 5000 logs to the sawmill from my inventory
Didn't really learn anything new (only played 6 hours so far), except horses that aren't even available to me yet. The game did good job of explaining most of these, and even if it didn't explain there were hidden in plain sight... if you didn't bother to try out things that quests didn't force you to try that's on you. Also... use right tools for right job... REALLY? It was one of the first quests to teach you which tool to use for which resource! And all the tools and weapons have listed their bonuses. Not having brazier was a not an issue since you can always use your own buildings for cover even if it's just a wall with no roof, or trees if you didn't cut down all of them. All it did add is convenience. Had no issues with crafting during the day, but brazier made it easier and it cost almost nothing to make it and keep it running, so might as well.
So you did not know the “super sorting” while playing or the blood type differs per enemy type ? I agree, I wish you knew it before but it was pretty obvious :)
I love how most of the tips are actually stuff that are clearly stated in the game, but most people are too ADD to even read what's in menus and in item descriptions. Yikes.
Yeah i wish i knew sooner that, just like Valheim, you cannot use gateway's if u farmed up with resources when you were on your way to bosses far away....
Guys a brassiere is what a woman wears to support her girls, a ""Bray-zier"" is the thing you're referring too in game. It's hilarious how many youtubers can't pronounce this word lol. Get your vampire bra's on to avoid the sun, boys LOL.
One thing I wish I knew (or had bothered to research) b4 buying the game, was that your castle will decay if you dont log in and play the game daily to 'feed' the castle heart with blood. I play a lot of different games and may go weeks b4 returning to the same game - this game forces you to play frequently or you get punished hard. Not a game for me - thank god I could still get a refund.
A brassiere is a bra. A brazier is a BRAY-ZHUR. Been driving me crazy that every single V Rising youtuber gets this wrong - sorry I'm taking it out on you :)
level 5 is not at 100%.. i don't know what gets youthere buti found a 100% rogue blood and did not have level 5 active.. not sure why, (but i was early in the game at the time.)
also if you want to get a fast start on gearing up farming paper is a random chance to unlock any research box for 50 paper, so while farming bandits for merc drops save the papper and the book drops you already have to break them down for 10 paper per duplicate you get.
It's part of folklore. One way to defend yourself from a vampire would be to throw rice on their path. They'd have to stop and count the rice before moving on. Some of these legends are funny.

the way you are pronouncing brazier makes it sound like a bra, Braze-er is closer to the right way to say it. Not trying to harp, just sounds funny thinking that you use a womens bra to avoid the sun lol.
This might be the most useless video i've seen, at some point I thought he was about to say "so you have these things called chests, and you can store things in it!"

A brassiere is a feminine undergarment better known as a bra. A brazier is pronounced brāʹ-zhər. (Bray - Zher) I just thought I'd throw this out there because calling it a bra just makes me giggle every time I hear it.

another storage tip, you can use servants for storage.
I can't help but laugh every time you say Brazier. It's not pronounched like a Bra, but your saying it cracks me up so no complaints.
Can't wait until I build real walls and flooring, so I can take my bra off under the shiny new roof. XD

Brazier is pronounced (bray-zure) the other way (bre-zeer) is like a bra. Just FYI, game looks pretty neat though looking forward to trying it.
I was laughing about just this lol. A great Dad-moment

If you drink the blood of a higher quality % worker you get a buff to harvesting resources. Thus your yield increases on harvesting resources.
