Literally no problem with gathering everything except scourgestone.. that was the only material I was a bit frustrated with.. everything else was fun gathering! But scourgestone? Damn… Great game and great content!
Yes u can and since u can build a total of 3 castle heart thats mean u can build 2 more place to put teleport at those location that either dont have teleport or too far away from your base
@@SakaiYuji1405 number of castle hearts you can make is a server setting. The default was 1, it later changed to 2, I think 5 is the max supported. Entirely server dependent.

Scourgestones/Glass are =extremely=important I haven't found a solid farm for either yet, just the monastery and graveyard by the cursed forest Edit: Having completed and looking back, make sure you get a prison cell early for free blood, save Highland Lotus/start your farm early on (they replenish after harvest) and for the love of god turn up resource collection rate.
Monastery and 2 ancient village in cursed forest is the only place u can farm scourgestones, mob and chest in game respawn after 24h ingame time so u can just go between 3 place collect every chest u found kill every enemies (especially skeleton bishop) then use the 24h respawn time to farm other mats or killing v blood bosses
There is so much to do in this game, I literally spent 6 hours today harvesting everything i could and getting my castle up. I have a room of chests though. I need to start killing the bosses to advance stuff,
I never bother harvesting quartz, ever. I always find glass in Brighthaven when I need it. Cotton I only need in quantity at the T2 phase and only need to hit up about 6 or 7 cotton farms and then never again. At that point, I have enough seeds to plant a cotton farm myself, so. The only resources I find PAINFUL to obtain is of the T3 variety (Silver Ingots). Beyond that, the WORST is finding books for recipes... even with the paper press it's very painful
Gem hunting is time consuming.. I needed 3 regular emerald for my merciless iron spear.. it took about 3 or 4 hours real time to find. One of the harder to find early game resources

Could use more plots to put a castle on? Targeting is problematic at times and lag, lag, lag and more lag. Strange it has lag w/only a few ppl on each sever? Maybe to many small servers?

If you think those 11 resources are "everything" in the game, you probably didn't play it yet LMAO. But sure, some of those you don't need to farm early on (or can't), but all of these are the most farmed items for mid-late game
From the bandits mostly. I have seen them drop from the bandits themselves, the chests and crates in their camps. There may be others, but this is what I am seeing so far.
I’m curious, how do you get these materials all the way back to your castle before sunrise? I can tell that you can teleport to the north side of the map, but it looks like you can’t teleport while holding resources so do you always have to account for like 3 hours at the end of the night to get back and therefore is a horse 100% necessary before you can start resource gathering up north?
i just wish my private server would pause when no one is online. if you not casualy playing this can be a nightmare keeping te blood up to you base logging in every few days. i love the game but some of us have work and lives
the system requirments say 12 gig ram when yesterday it said 8 gig ram before it was released anyone know if its a mistake or if thats what it is dont want to be using all my ram trying to play it if i need more?
They have had a lot of system messages saying some hardware are having issues the longer you play it. Meaning you have to reload the game a few times to get it to stop. I haven't had very many issues with it, random stuttering from what i assume is people joining\leaving the server
In general this game seems to demand far more system resources than you would expect. I hope this is something that can be improved over time with code optimization but I have a friend I want to play with and his build is 4 years old and struggles hard to keep up. 4 years old isn't that bad of a system for most games but for this one it eats it up. My build is in the top 0.5% of enthusiast gamers and it plays fine but honestly I get higher fps on far more impressive looking games and use less wattage and thus have less heat. It is clearly demanding a lot.
I have been playing solo and am near the end game. It definitely has some hurtles. Specifically each time you need to move to new materials to make your next level a gear it feels like you have hit a wall. Many times I have felt like I need a group to progress but I eventually find a way around it. I may have to find a great blood type with a blood moon and use a potion, or at least 2 of the 3 of those things and it pushes me over the edge. After that it seems easy again until you hit the next wall. So the difficulty will come in waves but it is doable and in some ways I feel a higher sense of achievement for doing it solo. Also some of the boss fights get the heart pumping. You generally need to master the first 70% of their health pool without taking damage because a lot of the end phases can get intense and the end seems to always be on a knifes edge of who lands that last hit to win. It can be a very rewarding way to play.
Bro. The level of douche bags in this game so far is staggering. People who clearly played the beta know where to hide where bosses are and just wait until your done with the boss and one shot you. It’s happened to me like 3 times.

You can't charm bosses.

The servers are entirely controlled by the player base. If you are lagging a lot, you are probably using servers located too far away from you.
Just a heads up you mention Farbane host quartz. That is incorrect. only Dunlay Farms.

I haven't found any but 1 yet, but I got the merciless copper mace from a bandit boss.
you can unlock recipes from paper that you get from crates/bandit drops, or you can rng god it and sometiems they drop the recipe itself.
Clive the level 30 boss ALWAYS drops 1 Merciless recipe (random one)

1 u can travel in day, just have to jump from shadow to shadow.
2 there are caves that you can use to “teleport” from place to place
