@@TeethTalk I don't have braces, but do have significant crowding. I'm starting a treatment for it soon, but what to do until then? Is there an alternative technique if there is literally no space between the teeth all the way down, to the seesawing motion is the only thing that works getting the floss down between the teeth, but then the side motion doesn't work, because there is no space for it, the floss is just stuck.

I recently had scale and polish and had some tartar build up I had it removed. Dentist told me to buy and electric toothbrush, floss. I went with a water flosser but even on the highest setting I’m getting the outer line of tartar that I had before annoyingly. I’m gonna buy some dental floss and interdental brushes and see if that is any better. So annoying I brush on the highest setting off my electric toothbrush and water floss in the highest setting and use alcohol free mouthwash and still it’s there wtf. I brush and water floss as seen in many videos so I know I’m doing that correctly it’s so frustrating.

I have a question. Dentists seem to generally recommend interdental brushes, but they don't do all of what flossing does, right?
They get the sides of the teeth where the gap is, likely better than flossing; but the brushes on top of that, also get the contact point between the teeth, and also get up under the gum line.
Are those 2 additional things not all that important? I can't yet find the relevant information on this. The videos I've seen just don't address it.
I see that you do recommend flossing as the primary method, and then if one struggles with that, to then move to another method, so that's making some sense there perhaps..

It honestly doesn't matter if i watch the video a thousand times. I can't master this technique. Of course it would be easier if i were flossing the same model of a mouth with perfect tooth alignment.

Why do I sometimes bleed in gums while flossing

Of course, I don't know your case. I would have bleeding gums too. The dentist recommended a toothpaste for the gums. I also use a mouthwash for gums. I no longer have bleeding.

Heyy, is post op recovery after having a wisdom tooth out taken out less painful if you're awake for the procedure? And is it less painful if you're only having one taken out? Had a checkup the other day and found out I need one of mine removed 😢😢

Ugh I’m in the same boat. My bottom wisdom teeth have started giving me jaw pain and my dentist said while it’s not an emergency, if it starts bothering me again I should go to an oral surgeon and get it taken out. I’m younger, so they say that the younger you are, the easier recovery is, but I’m still terrified

@@odeleya1768I had it done just last year at 18 years old. I recommend doing it young cause it’ll heal faster and you won’t run the risk of it potentially turning into an impacted wisdom tooth.
