I love The Chronic and agree with everything you said, but I'll also add some of the side guys like 'the narrator' RBX and Nate Dogg played key roles in making the album one of the all time greats.
RBX wrote on the Chronic a lot and Let Me Ride was literally his song that he gave to Dre and it won a Grammy award later. RBX's input is crucial to the success of the album.

Those were the days. When the Chronic came out i was 13 years old. That CD was amazing and still is. Then Doggystyle came out. Those two albums changed the game and i remember wanting both albums so bad. Watching Dre Day on MTV,nuthin but a G thang baby,snoops whats my name and Gin and juice were all major hits that i would watch the videos for. Such a great time to be a teenager and a fan of good music. The early to mid 90's were a special time for anyone. The Bulls and MJ,Baseball was great,49ers vs Cowboys rivalry,Deathrow records were amazing,MTV was bumping,In Living Colour was great and award shows were fun to watch and the OJ Simpson trial had everyone engrossed. Heaven for me would be to relive the 90's in a loop😂😂.
