  • This worn out games table was in desperate need of a makeover! I gave it a great new look with a bit of a mid century twist and I'm in love with the results! Painted base and refinished woodgrain top, and added tapered legs to complete the transformation!

I'm assuming that your saying that this wasn't a big project refers to the size of the piece, because this was a huge project as far as labor goes. Obviously a labor of love. Beautiful job! You definitely love what you do! Thanks for sharing.

You're so good at this. I watch a lot of these videos and I enjoy your restorations the most. You have a great eye for this and good woodworking chops! I like your easy going style of presentation (some other furniture flippers on RUclips narrate their videos as if they have just painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel!) and you clearly aren't shilling product for any brands. I hope your subscriber count climbs as you deserve a much larger audience.

Geez, every time I think I've seen what will be my favorite video, I go on to the next one of yours and say the exact same thing... "This is my favorite video!" This turned out beautifully! Love the choice of Black to pair the top and legs with. No clamps during this entire re-do. I find the inevitable glue and clamp scenarios very satisfying, haha. I can't remember what you were doing when I noticed this (maybe sanding?) but for whatever reason the piece was wobbling a bit as you went back and forth. I just kept thinking, "How can she stand that as she works?" Maybe you didn't even notice, but I wanted so much to offer a matchbook to stick under the short side, haha. Thanks for sharing another great vid! These are addictive!

Just "bumped into" your channel! I think you are one of the very very few people with actual taste and a keen eye for aesthetics on RUclips! My only "problem" (pet peeve, OCD...) is that you don't paint the inside of the furniture and the drawers! I get that most people don't and it's cost and time consuming for you but that is a major factor for me when I'm looking to buy a piece of furniture!
    Again, though... Great, GREAT style!
