Shorcommings of Fujimi kit are: Windshild is to wide, fuselage is to wide at the top, airbrakes are wrong shape etc. We are expecting new Sabre from Clear Prop company. This kit will be scale down of the 1/48 sabre from the same company. Please check their web page to see. This Fujimi kit is leaving in the dust.....And on the end a New Sabre A model will be first in the line of Sabre familly😀. Flaps , slats dropped PE parts included etc.
The molds for this kit is Fujimi of Japan. Lately Italeri has been boxing Fujimi and other Japanese companies kits under their label. It is good to see them being reissued again.
This is seriously impressive, I have an airbrush but I prefer brush painting my aircraft.. it’s more enjoyable that way. What you do is amazing because not too many brush painters out there, all I see is airbrushing (not that there’s anything wrong with it)
Very enjoyable video that obviously took a great amount of time and effort to produce. I hope you get the soon to be released 1/72 Clear Prop F-86A model and give it your special treatment! Expert use of filler, but you should not have used it on the canopy.
Absolutely brilliant brush painted build. Just one point and not to detract from the skill of the builder, but I believe the F-86 never carried the AIM-9 Sidewinder missile.
Thanks! It was suspicious for me too, when I saw the Sidewinders in the kit. But I looked after, and it actually did carry. In 1958 the Sabre was the first to use guided missiles in air-to-air combat.
Excellent work, this was one of my favourite early jets, expecially with Korean war livery, this Italeri kit seems superior to the older Heller's, expecially for the decals
I'm pretty impressed with the surface quality you got with a brush. Hand painting metallics sucks, so to get something that's not blotchy shows some real skill/patience.
Wow fantastic job!!! After several years painting with airbrush I decided to use the brush not feeling like to clean the airbrush every time. So your videos surely will help me. Usually I use Tamiya and Gunze acrilic colors and Humbrol enamel color. Can I use alternative thinners (i.e. white spirit, alcohol, etc....) and which you do recommend instead of the dedicated Tamiya, Gunze, Humbrol thinners ?
Well, I use mostly water based acrylics like Vallejo Model Color, Revell Aqua, Italer acrylic. They all work fine with Vallejos Thinner 70.524. Tamiya is a different story, you need X20-A or isopropyl alcohol. For enamel colors enamel thinner or white/mineral spirit should work fine.
@@brushpaintedmodels7086 What thinning ratio do you typically use with Vallejo Model Color paints? Does it vary much based on the color painted? What Primer do you use, and do you also thin it? I've never tried the Vallejo products, so would like any details you could provide. Thanks for the great build videos.
Very Pleased to see brush painting is still alive in this hobby. Looks outstanding.
Thanks! Glad you like it.
Masterful! Reminds me of seeing them at Griffiss AFB as a kid. I learned a lot from this video. Kudos and thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!

That blue scheme looked nice though😁
Thank you for sharing; When painting the Cockpit and smaller parts, did you use Primer? or just straight onto the plastic?
Always use a primer.
Immaculate! Merry Christmas.
👍

Paint to Thinner ratio 1:1 for VMC. Lately I use Tamiyas surface primer in a spray can.
Nice work, it looks like airbrushed!
Thank you. This metallic paint was very nice to work with.
Es el mismo molde de Fujimi 👍
Very cool! Maybe I missed it in the video but what type of paint do you use?
Thanks!
Thanks. I use mostly Vallejo Model Color acrylic paints. I show the exact colors in the videos.
A true artist. Subscribed. What music file are you using in the background ? Is it copyright free ?
Thanks! 👍 Music is from RUclips Audio library.
I WISHD ID HAD THSI AS SCALEMODEL
look like a Fujimi's mold.
Yes.
Please mysic not noise. Thanks
Qué desperdicio !!
A worse music is impossible to find. Probably the aim is to get the people away. .
Music is a thing of taste. And beside that, there is not much you can choose from without having copyright issues.
