I've had my 2N up on two wheels more times than I'd care for, trying to pull some sunken old Mustangs out of the woods. I was wondering how it would do with logs, but I think I may end up getting a logging winch. My clutch has started sticking, and I'd rather not tip the thing over on myself. Good demo, I am going to be rebuilding my hydraulic pump this weekend, I have terrible lift capacity at the moment
I had to replace the hydraulic cylinder with I bought it. It's not as hard as I thought it would be. Seems to be fairly simple set up. I need to adjust the draft control system but I'm not looking forward to that. Ake sure you check/replace the pivot pin wile your in there :)
What size log grapple are you using? I’m trying to decide on an appropriate size for myself. Probably will be handling trees a bit smaller than this. I have a Ford 801 Powermaster.
You sure know your Tractor!
Thanks for watching!
That's some big logs for that tractor but it's good old American muscle 💪 it can handle it
Yep the ability of that tractor has surprised me many times. Saves so much work!

I blew my lift cylinder out lifting with the hydraulics
They are rebuildable. Thanks for watching!
@@backcreekhomestead yeah I lift the boom all the way up chain it then turn off the pto lift with the chain ball
it needs a few hundred pounds on the front end
That would be nice :)
@@backcreekhomestead i'm goin to get a tractor i hope sumtime in the next year i'm goin to make sure its got 6 or 7 weights on the front
Iv seen weight boxes for the front just haven't got around to building one. It's amazing what these little tractors can do!
